Bruce Makowsky is not a newcomer to the industry by any means. He ran his own handbag company and was president of a major corporation where he developed the company into a $200 million business along with the design inspiration of his wife Kathy (of Kathy Van Zeeland fame). B. Makowsky handbags are defined by a signature leather tassel in addition to chunky satin-finished hardware and signature paisley lining. Zippers and pockets create function without bulk. Colors include simple blacks, browns and ivory with pops of fresh colors such as red, denim, saffron and tangerine.

WONDERFUL BAG!!!!!

I had been looking for the right bag for a long time. I saw the Lite version in a local department store. But it was the wrong color. Got online found this purse ordered it. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PURSE!!!!! Love the section in the middle for separation for my glasses on one side, and wallet checkbook,etc. in other. Easy to find my stuff. Perfect pocket for my cell phone. The pockets on side are for my keys. Organized well. THANKS!!!!!

I have been a fan of B. Makowsky handbags for awhile now, but the heavy weight of their bags was a concern. Now that I've discovered their Lites line, I'm in heaven! I would love to purchase a few more colors from their Lites line. What I love most is how B. Makowsky always has an outer pocket for my cell phone and usually two interior pockets.

This handbag is easy to swing to my shoulder and truly does not weigh me down! Plus - it looks gorgeous!

Beautiful soft textured leather

I am very happy with this bag - both the look of it, and the fact that it is lightweight for a leather bag. Most bags by Makowsky are too heavy for me but this one is fantastic. And I always like some sort of texture; this one has just that going on. The wrap around end pockets are very handy -- it's where I keep my cell phone. The strap is soft and woven, very easy on the hands and shoulders. Roomy without being overwhelming. I'll look for more of the Lites line by B.Makowsky.
