Bearpaw Boots

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. After receiving them, I ordered two more pairs of shoes in this brand, which rank right up there in comfort.

Returning

These are okay, but I'm going to be returning them for a couple of reasons. First, there is a weird plasticy-feeling insert that cups your heel. Not sure if it is just my foot, but even a few steps were uncomfortable. Also, the knit upper seems loose, like it might sag after a few wears (and I even have larger calves). It just overall wasn't good for me. If you are looking for this kind of boot, I would check out the Ugg Cardy instead.

The picture for this item is very decieving! It makes it look like there is more to the shaft than there is! There is no type of lining! This is most definetely NOT a cold weather boot!!! The top material is literally a sweater which you can see everything though! There is no way this will keep you warm or dry!I have another pair of sweather top boots from American Eagle I ordered last year and they're lined and have double layer of the sweater material and theyre great! Bearpaw really fell short on these boots! I even tried them on with a pair of jeans tucked in you could not only see my sock & the jeans but they showed every little line of how the jeans were tucked in! I guess these would be ok if you wer'nt considering this boot for warmth, and wore it with leggings only, other than that you may want to pass! I just found a great deal on some Emu boots on another website which will keep my feet and legs toasty all winter!

I purchased these in black, and they are so incredibly warm and comfortable. I wear them with any outfit, they are very versitile, and you can even scrunch the boot shaft if you want them to be a little shorter. I've only had these for a week and I've gotten so many compliments! I own a pair of Uggs also and I like these better, and they are cheaper! Great buy for a boot lover!!!

I got these 1/2 price on sale yesterday to give to my daughter. She has had a regular pair of the Bearpaws - the one that look like traditional Uggs. I opted for these because I like the leg part which feels like knee socks and would add additional warmth in the winter. They stretch nicely so no worries about wide calves. I had read previously that Bearpaws run small but I haven't experienced that; My daughter is a size 6 and a size 6 fits perfectly; She usually gets a kids size 4 in uggs.
