Boots for Daughter..

We saw these online and she loved them. When we opened them not only do they look fantastic, they are well made and fit true to size. She is 13 and a bit picky when it comes to shoes, so this worked out perfectly!!

Really love the style, but not crazy about the fit or the material used. I'm almost always a size 7, but these just had an odd fit. Roomy width, but the right boot rubbed the top of my toe, while the heels slipped a bit so I'm thinking they run a little big. Also, they "ate" my socks. I hate that! Overall, not nearly as comfortable as I expected from the reviews I read. Though well-made, they were quite stiff, and I wasn't pleased with the material at all. The description says it's leather and other sources add "Oily pressed cow suede" which evidently translates to "shiny, spray-on suede-like material" so buyer beware in that respect. It's kinda like the plywood or particle board of leather. Maybe worth sale or clearance prices, but certainly not worth the retail price or higher prices seen online.

Very warm and flexible! I thought these boots would be stiff and hard on the ankles and feet, but they are the exact opposite! I love the fact that they have the option of folding down the shaft of the boot into a cuff, exposing the fur and folding down the tongue giving it a whole new look! Be aware Sizes run half size small, I am 8 1/2 and had to buy a 9. The fit is perfect! Very pleased :)

I was looking for rugged boots with some style. These boots seem to do the trick. I like the way they fold down for ankle boots also.

My boots were delivered to me the next day!I purchased the cognac color and was slightly disappointed to see that one boot was a little lighter than the other. I kept them because you really can't tell unless you look close at them. I get plenty of compliments and they go great with jeans. The boot has a button clasp that allows you to fold the boot down revealing the fur inside. These are definitely a great find. Thank you endless!!

I bought the black pair and I love them. The fit was true to size for me, and they do very well on the ice we have around here.

The dye inside the boot does seem to rub off on my socks though. That's the only problem that I can think of. But I still like them well enough that I'm going to buy another pair in a different color.

Quite disappointed... These boots are very stiff, after two days of wearing I've got a bleeding ankle. Probably can't return it, since I've already worn it. Just hope it will break in eventually. In the mean time I will have limp, I guess.

I've always kind of discriminated against Bearpaw as an UGG knock off, but I am pleasantly surprised by the quality.
The leather is fairly sturdy, but has a kind of cheesy shiny film over it. The sheepskin is very soft and lines all of the boot except for the instep. The lug outsole has a great grip and the oversized grommets add a nice touch. I don't find the insole very well cushioned.
It's not pictured here, but you can fold down the tongue to feature a plaid lining, and/or fold down the side of the boot to show the sheepskin.
My one complaint is the fit. After reading many reviews, I sized up from my normal 7 to a size 8. I have fairly narrow feet, but these are very wide, and my feet move around in the boot. The 8 is a touch big in length for me with smartwool socks.
I do think these are inferior to the UGG Broome or Jillian in both quality and fit, but considering these are $200 cheaper than either of the UGGS, this is a great, on-trend buy.

I liked these but they ran a little small so I needed a half size bigger, which they do not make/carry. I will be returning them.
