Very happy with the quality of the leather and the feel of the shoe. I would suggest getting a half size/full size down from your normal size as the shoe does run large. Has a flat sole, feels much tighter and offers more support with a sports insert. Shoe looks great and endless shipping was very fast and efficient to Australia.

First, order one full size smaller than you would normally wear. I wear a 13 and after trying them on in a store ordered a 12. The beeswax boots are stiffer than the suede ones, so expect to have to break them in a little. It only takes a few wears to soften them up. You should wear thicker socks that come above the top of the shoe at first though. Now that I have worn them a few times, they are great. Very comfortable and easy to wear. They look great with jeans. I haven't tried them with khakis or slacks. I highly recommend them.

Still wearing these in... I find them a little bit pinchy. I've had Timberland Desert Boots before and loved them--I think a bit more than I will like these. I prefer the slightly wider toe box on the Timberland ones, and I think they were treated with anti-stain, which Clarks aren't.

A classic design -- aesthetic and understated. But also a VERY lightweight shoe. No arch support, and hardly any room for inserts. Leather uppers are VERY thin. Sole is soft, with good cushion, but also very thin. No shank. I think that the best way to describe fit and function is to call them moccasins. They have about that much support and weight to them. I enjoy my pair immensely, but after owning them for several years they tend to only come out of the closet if I am spending the whole day in a car or airplane, or in front of a desk. A good classic choice, but don't think you are buying a 'boot' in any functional sense.

So I don't want to be berated by the scores of Desert Boot loyalists, but these shoes are definitely a bit of an anomaly. First, on a good note, they look fantastic, especially in the taupe color I ordered (just watch the dark jeans rubbing off on them). I understand why they are a bit of a cult shoe. They can be worn in a casual office setting with khakis, though they are most definitely on the casual side of leather shoes. Now the not so good: I took the advice of others and sized down a whole size (normally 12) and went with the 11. They were tight initially, and now are slightly less but still tight with 2 weeks of wear. With thinner socks, they are doable. There is basically no arch support, and the sole is thin, but unless these stretch even more, I probably won't be able to fit an insole in here.

To summarize: They Look great, sizing is a bit weird, and there's minimal support, but the looks are redeeming for their flaws.

Clarks One Width was too narrow

I had a pair of Clarks walking shoes over twenty years ago and I loved them. When I saw the Desert Boots at Endless and on sale, I hoped they would fit the same way as I remembered. They did not. Clarks now only makes one width - D - and I hoped it would stretch to accommodate my Wide foot.... it would not and the heel was too wide allowing my foot to wobble. So I sent them back and the return process with Endless was great! I received a return UPS label for free via email and it was quick and painless. I will definitely keep using Endless in the future!! The company is quality in the way it treats its clients!!

Marvelous shoes. They used to be cheap 12 years ago and made in the UK. I ordered a full size down and wear it without socks. Half size down otherwise.

I really like these shoes, but they run large. I generally wear 8 or 8.5 and I ordered these in an 8 and they're at least a half size too big.

I purchased these for my husband. My daddy used to always wear these when I was little, so I was happy to see them back! We ordered his size and had to exchange for a whole size smaller. He also says they are still a little too wide. Other than that we love the look and style of the boot.

I bought a pair of these over 12 years ago. I was glad to see the quality is still the same. Also noticed the sizes are now correct. It is no longer necessary for me to order a size smaller. This shoe remains a classic

I've had these before, and they are very comfortable. I like the over-the-ankle style, and they're great for a mild winter or too-cool office without ever getting too warm.

I do wish they'd use a cord-style lacing instead of a flat-ribbon type.

I really like these, and they feel like good quality. I ordered a half size down like people said, but they feel a little narrow.. im hoping they will stretch out a little bit once i wear them a little more.. other than that though i really like them..fast shipping too!

Having worn Clarks DBs as a teenager growing up in Europe, I can only say that wearing them now, as an adult, takes me back to those wonderful days. They are instantly broken in and feel like outdoor slippers...The best shoe/boot ever.

These are great looking shoes, but narrow at the ball of the foot. No support in the arch, but we knew that going in. My son kept his and seems to like them, but husband sent his back.

I first received my regular size 11. I returned it and got a size 10.I then put a liner from an old pair of running shoes in. It was a little snug at first.After the first waring, it is perfect. They are gray and go with almost everything.

Love the classic style of these boots. Just be sure to get one whole size smaller than normal. I wear a 10.5 in every shoe that I have owned up until now. I had to swap these out for a 9.5 after I sent the 10.5's back. The 9.5 fits perfect.

This is a high-quality boot, but it didn't work for me. It felt about a full size too long, and the shaft was uncomfortable because the tongue was stiff and dug into my leg near the ankle. If they fit you right, you should be happy with them.

I couldn't decide between the dark gray or beeswax so I got taupe instead. I normally wear an 8.5 shoe, but I have to go down to an 8 in these as well as chucks.

Great shoes, I wear them everyday that my outfit permits it. The shoes take a little time to get used to and runs big, but once you get the right size they are great.

Great looking shoe. Light and comfortable, not good for walking long distances. Live in Seattle so wet weather keeps these on the shoe rack. Over all I am happy. The laces are minimal but just enough to keep the shoe on, you get use to it.

This is the second pair of Clark boots that I've owned. The first lasted me 8 years with a lot of use. These seem to be as well made and comfortable. They look especially nice with semi-formal pants (i.e. khakis or chinos). I'd recommend these for anyone looking for a well made, good looking boot.

Used to really love desert boots as a young man. Difficult to find in retail outlets. Saw them at Endless and decided to order. Fit was fine, arch support is minimal (as I recalled) and comfort is excellent. Glad I bought them.

This is a very light and comfortable shoe / boot, and I love the crepe sole. I'm a documentary photographer, and this is a perfect companion in warm weather. The retro style is a plus if you like a classic look.
