Unfortunately too small

I gave only 3 stars, because it fits one whole size too small. I wear a Size 42 (41 in open toed shoes).
I would buy many more of these if you had them in a 13/43.
I bought another pair in a larger size and I love them.

When i first saw this shoe i loved it. after reading the other reviews i thought they'd be great for work. when i got them in the mail i couldn't even get my foot into them. they are Very narrow and when i measured the sole of the shoe up to the bottom of my foot it was at least 2" smaller then my foot. for people raving about how big this shoe was i disagree! if you have wide feet like i do this shoe probably won't fit! :(

I had to send back the first two pairs because they were 2 whole sizes too small! But I stuck with it and ordered into the men's sizes and found a pair that fit. Thank goodness for the free shipping, which enabled me to find the right size shoe. I love these clogs just as I did the pair that I wore into the ground. It's about time I got a replacement pair.

I ususally wear a size 7M, and wasn't sure which size group to pick. First I ordered the 6-7, but my toes were touching the front of the shoe, and would've been uncomfortable to walk very far. So, I ordered the next size up (7-8), and they are a bit too big. My foot slides around, but the heel stays in. I kept the bigger ones, but wear thicker socks with them. Despite the size issues, my feet feel great at the end of the day, even with my chronic case of plantar fascinitis.

Whats with having to 'break them in"?

I bought a pair of these recently, and let's just say that halfway through my 2nd 12 hour shift wearing these, my feet hurt so bad I did not want to get up and if I would have had any other shoes to put on right then, I would have! On a good note, my feet didn't have any swelling at the end of that day, so the jury is still out on these. I've never had to 'break in a pair of shoes'. Everyone seems to rave about how comfortable these are, but I'm not seeing that. Normally I was wearing Z-Coil shoes, but at twice the cost of the Dansko's I thought I would give these a try and hoping I don't regret this purchase.

This is a great shoe, worth every penny! I had been suffering from tired and aching feet, due to poor sole support. Because these shoes were designed for people who are on their feet all day, I decided to try them. Needless to say, my tired and aching foot pain disappeared in one day!! You will not be disappointed. These shoes are a great investment for your feet and worth the price. I also just bought a pair of sandals for the summer which are also great!

I have a pair of demmark made oiled made clogs from years ago. Now that they are made in china all the black dye comes off on your feet or socks

I completely agree with iluv2read--these shoes are running smaller than before. I normally wear a 37 in Dansko clogs, but the last pair I bought in that size (and couldn't return--not purchased from endless) were definitely too small. I've had to go up a size to get the correct fit. They are wonderful shoes, though. Very comfortable!

These shoes are very comfortable. I wear them to work daily and have no foot or leg pain at the end of the day.
The color was a little darker than I expected, but I am very happy with them.

Several years ago, I used to sell Dansko Professionals to nurses. All of the nurses raved about how wonderful the shoes were... they're heavier than most shoes, but are easy on the back and legs when working a long day on your feet.

I finally got my own pair of Professionals as a Christmas gift this year, and I LOVE them. I'm glad I got a size up from my normal size, as they do run a bit small, but they're wide enough and extremely comfortable. I usually wear Crocs, so it's different wearing a heavier shoe with more structure, but they're very comfortable.

I am not a clog person, however I instantly fell in love with this shoe. It gives great arch support, never rubs in any wierd areas, and I can walk as far as I want in it. It did take a little while to get used to the fit (more of a sliding heel than one that clings to you), but once I did, it was fantastic.

DH bought these for me as a requested Christmas item. :O)
They are made to fit big on a foot. They are a heavy shoe. Well constructed. I love everything about them. I read reviews before hand that suggested a 5 day break in period, I can agree with that. I would like for the upper top part that covers my foot would relax a bit more. I am patient and willing to wait for it.

I have not purchased a new pair of Dansko shoes in about 6 years and I love my old pair, but I am not sure what is going on because this new pair(exact same style) they are running a little small. I did return them and they gave an immediate refund. I am going to try these shoes on in a local shoe store in the next size up to make sure they will give me a good fit and I will come back and order them again from Endless.com. I know this is a excellent shoe from experience, I just think maybe they switched manufactures and something is a little off in the size? I highly recommend this shoe, but I also recommend trying it on first somewhere before ordering if your needing the immediately and do not want to wait for the return process. I love the free shipping, wide variety of sizes & shoes and prices with Endless.com, they have won my business forever!

After 10 years, it was time to replace my original Professionals. These fit just like those, and I love the oiled leather. The finish wears scuffs very well. The brown is a very versatile color.

I was a little nervous about the cost and ordering online. No worries!! The information on size was accurate and the shoes fit perfectly. It took a few minutes to get used to them becuase they are different than anything I have ever worn. But they are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Can't beat the free overnight shipping either. I am looking forward to ordering another pair.

I had previously bought the "boxed professional" in one size bigger then I normally would wear because I thought that they ran small but the Professional runs true to size, for me anyway. Love the shoe and wore them throughout a recent hiking vacation, even though they were brand new!!!

as a nursing student doing many 12 hour shifts, i needed a shoe that would reduce my foot, knee, and back pain. these shoes definitely help with those issues. i'm sure i will wear these type for years to come! as for the size, i wear an 8.5, so i got a size 39. they are just barely big enough, even tho the 39's say they are 8.5-9. but they do fit fine.

A few years ago, I bought a pair of shoes similar to this but a different brand (from one of the outdoorsie kind of stores). I first tried the Dansko shoes at the mall and thought they felt kind of strange. Once I actually purchased these shoes from endless.com, I LOVE them! If you have never had Dansko or a similar brand, it does take some time to get used to the fact that it is not tight on your heal and that they do not have a whole lot of cushioning on in the inside. Regardless of this, I find these shoes to be extremely comfortable and look good with just about every outfit. I am a teacher and am on my feet for a big part of the day. I never come home with aching feet like I do with some other shoes. I would highly recommend them for everyone. It is worth the price!!!

These clogs are so comfortable. Bought them on recommendation from a friend and so glad I did. The first day I wore them, I wore them all day and my feet never got tired or sore. I look forward to wearing them all spring!

Dansko's fit has changed!

I am a tried and true Dansko wearer. Consistently, I have been able to wear a 39 (my true U.S. shoe size is an 8). Unfortunately, Dansko clogs are no longer made by Sanita, the orginal producers of Dansko clogs. Dansko looks the same, the quality is the same (well made), but the fit runs at least one EU size smaller than older models. So, tomorrow morning my 39's will be returned and I have placed an order for a size 40. I hope they fit! Thank you Endless for your free overnight shipping and free return shipping!

Made in China not Poland

Dansko has changed where their shoes are manufactured. These shoes are now made in China, they fit different and they do not hold up as well as the original shoes that were Made in Poland.

I love this shoe but it pains me to support this kind of commerce. Before I make this purchase I am going to check out the competition and see where their shoe is made. This matters not only to American workers but to the people of China who are exploited in the factories. It is a shame that this wonderful product can't be produced right here at home.

Dansko professional clog is a really good shoe if you work on your feet for long hours. I am a casino dealer so I am on my feet for hours at a time strectching over the tables, back hurting during my shift and once I get home, was considering a job change. Today I worked with my Dansko on OMG my back did not bother me at all. I wear a 10 and I ordered the 10.5-11 perfect fit

First I'd like to say how fabulous FREE overnight shipping is! What a great thing to see a shoe you want, then be able to have it the next day! I ordered the Dansko Professional in the Antique Brown oiled finish to wear as my every day work shoe (I work in an industrial laboratory setting) because they look very similar to the steel-toed work boots that my male co-workers wear...only MUCH more comfy and cute. This is my second pair of Dansko clogs, and the fit of these are much better than my previous ones. My normal shoe size is a 9W (if I can find it), and I already own a size 39 (US 8.5-9). They were a bit snug, but I read tons of reviews online that said the shoes would stretch after a short breaking in period so I kept them. Well after wearing them for over month they were still tight in the toe area, but still tolerable. When I saw that Endless.com was carrying Danskos, I took a chance and ordered a size 40, which is a 9.5-10 range. Wow! What a difference in comfort :) Definitely worth the money.
