Wide enough for my 5E foot!

Dankos sizing varies by style (and even material) - the Pro Clogs in Aztec fit me in 36M; other Pros in various leathers are much too narrow in that same size. I got the Pro Wides in Black and Brown Cabrios and they fit perfectly. Hey Dansko, how 'bout making some of your more colorful models in Wides too, please?

My daughter was not sure if she would even like these, but since I do, she gave them a try. She usually wears a 10 or 10 1/2, and sometimes an 11, depending on the width. Her foot is wide. I assured her that these could be returned if not satisfactory, so she agreed to try the size 41, and I ordered them as a gift. Now she is so appreciative and can't get over the comfort. She commented on how warm her feet are even back East in sub-freezing weather. She gets lots of compliments on them and our only complaint is that there are only a couple of 'wide' styles to choose from and only two colors! Otherwise, I'd say these are a great shoe just like the rest of Dansko's!

To those that think it's too tight across the band

I had an old pair of Danskos that I wore to shreds, but now I'm too thick through my instep (width of foot from top to bottom) to fit into a new pair. I couldn't even get my foot in! I recently got a pair of Sanitas that look almost identical but with snaps on the side and they're perfect!

I have never been able to find a clog that fits my wide feet. No store in my area carries wide clogs, and I've been without for years. Fortunately I was able to find these clogs! Being a teacher, I'm on my feet almost all day, and these shoes are a lifesaver. They fit perfectly and the best shoes for what I need.
I will definitely be a Dansko fan for life!

love the shoe- hate the fit

I love this shoe - have heard so much about it. However, I have to return it because the width is too narrow and the arch support hits in the wrong place. I have a wide foot but this shoe does not run wide enough. I'm tempted to try a larger size but am afraid the shoe will slide off my foot. Too bad shoe companies don't make their wide shoes "wide".

As a medical professional, I'm on my feet for most of the day. Several of my co-workers had recommended that I purchase these shoes and claimed they were amazing. So I immediately ordered the shoes and overnight shipped them. The company was fantastic & the shoes arrived the next morning. I was wildly disappointed when I went to try them on and couldn't even get my foot in them despite ordering a wide and a size larger. I know I have wide feet but I usually don't have problems if I purchase a wide width shoe, but this was unacceptable! The shoes were packed up and returned a few hours after receiving them!

Too tight band

I like the Dansko line of shoes. I have a wide foot though and am unable to wear most of them. I was very excited when I saw that they finally came out with a wide width. The problem for me (as with the average width professional) was that the band across the top of the foot is still too tight. In fact the rest of the shoe was too large for me (maybe a 1/2 size smaller would have worked)and the only thing holding it on my foot was the tight band across the top of my foot. Dansko, please correct this.

The band across the top was too tight,(I guess that is my instep).
I have had these shoes before but I cannot find a pair to fit this time. I definitely need a wide. I will keep trying, these are the most wonderful shoes ever.
