I think they are hot but they are too wide I am a medium to narrow foot. They feel like size 12 and I am a 10. I will be sending them back on Monday. They need to say order a size smaller. I guess you get what you pay for. Wish me luck I will be reordering in a size 9.

Many of the reviews complained about the flaps and how they put them up the only way I can imagine those flaps up is if you are 5'11" and above because if you are 5'3" like me it looks kind of strange tied up but if you tie the flaps down so they are not so poofy they really look super cute and so comfy!!! I actually have wide feet and I have plenty of room so for some one with a narrow foot they might be a little too wide. I also have very large muscular calves so it is kind of snug but not so much I can't stuff some boot cut or skinny jeans down them. But for most with thin calves they will fit properly!! All in all I really like them, I did kind of question them when I first pulled them out of the box but you have to play with them, the flaps and your jeans and they really grow on you!!

I love these boots. They feel like I am wearing slippers. They are warm, but don't make my feet too hot when wearing inside. And they are so cute on. I get so many compliments on these boots, often from people I don't know. I am tall, and I think they look better on tall people because they are so high on the leg. I love them and am so glad I bought them.

Just received this, and I'm reviewing based on initial impression. Got the chocolate color, was choosing between that and chestnut. The flaps are bulky. I tried tying the ribbon over the flaps, and I think I like it more that way. Still feels comfortable with medium thickness socks (I usually wear a 7, and I ordered a 7), also ok without socks but I prefer to wear socks. Still deciding whether it's for me, I'm debating whether the style is too young for me.

I remember someone reviewed these saying something about how they are huge and floppy and would only look good on you if you were huge and floppy too. Well, they are pretty floppy, but I have very long slender legs and if you tie the ribbon up around the top part of the boot, with the flaps kind of pulled up, it looks cute on slender legs. The foot is VERY WIDE though, but I think i will love them when it gets cold out. I would order down a size.

I hope I can make these work for me b/c they are really cute! They're also incredibly warm, and given their height, would be perfect for walks in subzero temps. Regarding style, they have a jaunty look and the sand color looks the same in person as it did on my computer (dishwater-greyish-off-whitish). The top flap looks best worn up, and stays up without flopping around when I walk. Worn down, the flaps give the boots a bulky look. The nice ties not only help a bit with keeping the flaps up, but also help keep non-skinny jeans tucked into the boots. Regarding fit, I usually buy size 8 boots and wear them with an added 3/4 cushy insole and thicker socks. The 7s in these fit my foot length, but are really, really wide. My feet are in between "narrow" and "medium" width, but no medium shoe I own fits so wide. Also, those with slim calves and ankles will find bagging at the ankles. I could remedy this problem by wrapping some cloth around my ankles to fill the boots out, but do I really want to do that? There's also NO ankle support at all for the thin-ankled. I've worn sheepskin boots before, but from Khombu and La Canadienne, both of which provide more ankle support and are not as wide. These however, seem to be more "Ugg-like" and lack support. Also, my foot is on the thin side and flops around inside the boot a bit with every step I take. As I step forward, my heel slides up into the shaft a bit, while the rest of the boot lags behind. This makes walking much more effortful. I somewhat remedied this by adding 2 sheepskin insoles to each boot. Otherwise, the sole is comfortable, although not as well-padded as La Canadiennes. So, if you have thin calves and ankles, beware that you could have some issues wit fit. Also, if you have wide calves, you might have a hard time tucking anything but the tightest skinny jeans into these boots.
Overally, a cute and warm boot that could present fit issues to those with thinner feet and ankles.

love, love, love these boots! they are very comfortable and very cute. they are also very warm, they are a great winter boot. i dont think i will ever wear them with the flaps folded down because they dont quite sit right or look as good but i didnt buy them to wear them that way anyway. but they are very unique for this type of boot, you dont find many that will go up to the knee. and believe me i looked. endless.com is prob my new favorite place to get shoes, they have the best prices and the overnight is unbelievable! most people say emu runs big but i think its the perfect amount of room you would want for this type of boot if u get your true size. possibly half a size smaller but they dont offer half sizes. so i would say if you wear a half size, go down to the next full size instead of up. also, if you have very skinny legs they might not fit that snug around the calves. my legs are pretty much in the middle and they fit perfect. i would also imagine for these to work you would have to be on the tall side, which i am.

So I bought these thinking they might look kinda cool being that they were kneehighs. Instead, they looked really stupid.
When the top part is folded down, the boot looks quite odd and bulky. When the top is left up, it looks even more ridiculous because now it's bulky and flappy. Overall, this style is just too tall and big. I will be returning them shortly.
However, if you quite tall and a bit chunky yourself, these might look right on you.
Also, the boots do run large. Or maybe the sizes are Australian sizes? I don 't know, but I usually wear a 6 and the 5 boot was perfect.
