The Frye Company is the oldest continuously operated shoe company in the United States. Founded in 1863 by John A. Frye, a well-to-do shoemaker from England, and family-run until 1945, Frye products have a long and illustrious history. Frye boots were worn by soldiers on both sides of America's Civil War, soldiers in the Spanish-American war, and by Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Riders. When home-steading drew adventurous New England families to the West during the mid and late 1800's many of the pioneers wore Frye Boots for the long journey. Today Frye remains true to its roots with its line of heritage boots, but continues to innovate as it introduces chic new handbags, pumps, and sandals to its collection.

amazing boots!!!!!

Posted by:  Becca (New York, NY) Nov 23, 2009
These boots are fantastic. I ordered a 1/2 size bigger after reading some other reviews and they are roomy, but not so much that my foot slides around inside and is uncomfortable. In fact, these boots are INCREDIBLY comfy. I am on my feet all day and these don't give me any problems! The boot shaft gives me plenty or room (a feature that I really like because I don't like it to be tight around my calf). These boots look so great with skirts, over jeans, even with some cute tights and a dress. They were a big splurge for me, but I am SO happy i got them. They are my go-to shoe and I never want to take them off...plus, they are made SO well I can wear them for a loooong loong time to come!!!! If you are on the fence about getting these, just go for it!! Frye boots are an investment that you will be HAPPY you made!

Love these!

I bought these after not owning a pair for years and instantly remembered why I had my others for so long. I wore them the first day for over 8 hours walking around the city and again the next day all day and they were so comfortable. Worth the extra dough!

New Frye Boots

I own these boots in the 12R model in black and brown. I'm really loving the 8R. They're much easier to get into and out of. Frye boots are never a wrong move!

Made in America

I bought these Frye's for my wife who would never buy shoes on-line. The fit was perfect, as stated.
The quality is remarkable and it sure is nice to buy shoes made in America. Thank you, Frye. Thank you, Endless! She loves them.

I love these boots but....

they just were not going to work for me. I had my right ankle fused (no movement)so these were very hard to get on my right foot. They are great boots. I have had them in the past (in fact I was wearing them when I broke my ankle). They will last a lifetime and never go out of style. If only they were made with a zipper.....

love, love, love these boots!

these boots are so cool! you will love them too, and they really are a half size big, i wear a 9.5 and the 9 fits like a glove...so sturdy, tough and like i said really cool! i've been wearing them a bunch since i got them and the overnight free delivery rocks!

I've been wearing these boots every weekend for long walks through the city. Stylish and comfortable. They are heavy duty and a bit heavy but I feel like I can take on the world in these.

Solid, comfortable boots

After a couple returns because of size and problems with leather (btw - the Endless staff were EXTREMELY helpful with my returns, and shipping was done very promptly), these boots are now being broken in and are part of my wardrobe. I wear an 8.5, and I had to go down an entire size because of heel slippage. I've been breaking these in for the past three weeks (budget a good month to break in). They're not for long walking (5+ miles hurts my back) but they're extremely durable and comfortable for daily wear.

Awesome biker boots

I love these boots. I have a hard time finding boots that fit my chubby calfs and they "FIT". Yippee:)

Fryes are great

Although there is a longer breaking in period, this boot will probably outlast any other shoe that I will ever own. They are heavy, so if you are looking for a light boot...I wouldn't do that. but if you want a boot you can pass down to your grandchildren...well, here you go!
