Ingenuity goes a long way toward compensating for lack of capital, an axiom Kenneth Cole proved back in the early 1980s when he launched his fledgling shoe store out of a borrowed truck parked along a fashionable Midtown Manhattan street. Gaining a parking permit required a clever ruse. Cole added the word "Productions" to his company name, reinvented himself as a film director, hired models as "actors," and got a license to shoot a film appropriately titled The Birth of a Shoe Store. Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. (the tongue-in-cheek name remains to this day) may not have produced much actual film that day, but it did sell an impressive number of shoes. Today, Kenneth Cole Reaction blends fabulous fashion with functionality, creating urban-inspired footwear for work or play.

WoW

I was sent a link [...] with this boot listed. I couldn’t believe the price and to boot, pun intended, they looked awesome. I call them my bad boy boots and get compliments whenever I wear them, as if I care if anyone else likes them or not. User tip, they look great tucked in for an equestrian/biker look...

fashion over comfort?

these boots run a bit large. i only ordered a half size smaller, but should've made it a whole size. the boots are built well, but aren't the most comfortable. it'll take a bit of time to break 'em in. regardless, these boots are hot, so round up a pair quick.

the best price

I had bought this boots at Macys but were a little big 9.5 I looked at 3 stores and did not have my size(9), when I saw them at endless they were half the price, I returned the other ones, what a great deal...

Great deal.

This has been the second time I buy the same pair of boots. This time for a much better deal.

very nice boot. but it look taller in picture it would be helpfull if hight was given with size. also zipper back should have been covered. looks good with leather or jean pants

not really of quality

Posted by:  J (NYC) Nov 7, 2009
For wide feet, these boots are all wrong. After trying on a few sizes, the size 12's fit, but were too large. They're also very stiff, no cushion support on the sole or shaft, and the shaft is very wide on the top. Last complaint - the detailing is beautiful, but what good is that if a pair of jeans covers up those details? Also, the brown color scuffs-up easily - the pair I ordered arrived with some damage.

Sizes are much bigger than they appear

I'd say go down a size from what you normally wear in tennis shoes. No wonder they are sold out of sizes under 9!!!
