Rockin' hot but oh so uncomfortable

Bought these for my brother's wedding. They are rockin' hot but oh so uncomfortable. The sizing is strange - the heel is wide but the toe strap is narrow. I normally wear an 8.5 but ordered smaller based on previous reviews. The 8 was too wide in the heel and the 7.5 was too narrow in the toe. I opted for the 7.5 so that it would stay on my foot. I had to put on more comfortable shoes later in the evening. Great shoe if you'll do more sitting than standing. Oh, and be wary of the feathers - they come off easily.
