GREAT DEAL!!

I absolutely love these boots!! They were a great bargain and are awesome tall, black boots. I like them because they are a fusion of a riding boot and motorcycle boot. Have received numerous compliments!! :)

Pretty happy

I was expecting more of a biker boot, but I think they are more like a english riding boot. I still like them alot, just wish the shaft was stiffer, they are slouching a bit at the ankle already, and I've only had them a few weeks. Also didn't notice that they are round toed. I still like them and wear them alot though.

Just got them today

A few days ago I ordered a size 8 because typically I am a 8.5 - 9 and those that previously reviewed the shoe advised to get a 1/2 to a full size smaller as the shoes run big. Turns out the 8 was too big, which was fine because returning it was a breeze. I re-ordered the shoe in a 7 and it fits like a glove. Yes the boot shaft is a little roomy, yes the shoe itself is a tiny bit roomy as well, but in a good and comfortable way. The boots look great! All in all, between the price and the overnight shipping you really can't ask for more.

Super Cute boot but uncomfortable and way to narrow for my foot, had to send them back

Part motorcycle boot, part riding boot, all FAB! I want more vegan choices and this boot is so stylish, comfortable and animal friendly, but still good looking. Great for tucking in skinny jeans. I wear a 9 in shoes, go up to a 9.5 for boots, but per reviews, got the 8.5 in these. The fit is perfect even with socks.

Not bad for price

This boot looks like it is going to be a solid fairly rugged boot but it really is pretty light and looks a bit cheap. I read the reviews so I expected this a little but just not so much. That being said they go well with a few outfits so I will get some good wear from them. Nice but just don't expect too much.

As expected

These are comfy boots that look great and come at an amazing price. Although it's obviously not a leather boot, I don't think it looks cheap (and I'm pretty picky about my shoes). Definitely order your boot a size smaller (as suggested in previous reviews).

great boots for larger calves

posted by:  Amanda (Philadelphia, PA) Sep 7, 2009
Overall I like these boots. The material is flimsier than I'd expected, so they do bag around the ankles, but they're very comfortable and super easy to clean. And you can't beat the price. Plus they're not leather! It's a HUGE pain to find vegan-friendly boots like this. I have wide feet and larger-than-normal calves, so on me they fit pretty snugly, but they DO fit. If my feet weren't so wide I'd exchange them for a half-size smaller, but as it is they're perfect with a pair of socks. Narrower feet and calves would probably find these roomy.

Style-wise they kind of straddle the line between biker boot and riding boot, and I like that they can be dressed to go either way.

but haven't tried in rain yet

posted by:  A.C. Sep 7, 2009
i bought this because one of the reviewers said it kept her feet dry in rain and snow, but i haven't
had the opportunity to try it in the rain yet. the material feels flimsier than i expected, not very sturdy, but the boots are overall comfortable, nicely lined, and roomy enough for thick socks.

Right on!

I LOVE this boot! I just hope I don't wear them out too soon. :-) I've already worn them with a skirt to the office and with my skinny jeans tucked into them to a football game. Perfecto! I can already tell these boots are going to be my absolute favorites this fall. Thanks Mia!

Great look, but...

As stated above, these boots look GREAT; I love wearing them with skinny jeans and leggings. That being said, the material was not what I expected. It is very thin, and almost looks like latex, but not as strong. After a month of wear, the seam at the top of my foot (where the buckle goes round) ripped open. A shame, really. Great look, great price, but the material is lacking.

Great boots

These boots are great! Yes they run a little big, but it's perfect for a thick pair of socks in the winter. I live in the snow and rain for 6 months a year and these are always my go-to boots, very comfortable and keep my feet dry.

Cute, but runs a little large.

I thought this was a good value for a cute boot. Unfortunately, it was a bit too large.

great boots

these fit perfectly. they feel great. i am on my feet all day, and they were comfortable while i worked. i was so happy to find these in a size 5.

looks cool but no so sturdy

The boot is true to the picture, but I expected something a little more sturdy than what I received.

Heh

Although the boots' silhouette is perfect, the type of material it was made of looked too much like plastic to me. I had to return it.

very comfy boot

This boot rocks.... very comfortable and how can you beat the price?!! Buy a pair today!

Obviously these boots are bomb!

rain, mud, whatever...this boot kills it. I'm a little mad I got it and then a week or so later it got discounted to no end. I'm a size 10/10.5 rarely an 11 mostly on European brands (thanks to long narrow feet & finger-like toes) and I got these in a 10 and they're pretty big, I want to say a whole size bigger but I didn't wear them with thick socks to be dead on. Either way, order a size down. Another problem is the calf area...huge! That buckle barely does anything, so you'll just have to use thick long ribbed socks and scrunch them in the calf area :)
