cute but small

Posted by:  Emilysmom (OFallon,MO) Apr 14, 2009
Liked the look of this shoe but had to return it because it ran way too small. It is very light, almost too much so, as it felt a little like a slipper. Way too narrow for me.

I'd recommend these

Fit great. I'm a perfect size 7, and these fit just fine.
They are very comfortable and stylish. I'd buy another pair !

Best for orthotics - Plantar Fasciitis

Posted by:  Shari B (AZ) Aug 26, 2008
I have bone spurs & plantar Fasciitis and have always worn Sketchers with my orthotics. I bought 2 pairs of these and my orthos fit great in them. There is an amazing amount of support along the inner sides of the shoe that stands up to daily wear - which seemed to collapse with the backless Sketchers after a few months. Don't get me wrong - the Sketchers are great if they have a back - but for backless - these provide me with awesome support on all sides and it's like having a new pair of orthotics every day.One more great thing - unlike most brands with glued in or stitched in insoles - these pop right out, making them perfect for orthos. Nothing will get rid of the pain totally - but my back & arches feel much better in the NB... I just wish SOMEONE had the Breast Cancer black & pink available in my size ( 8 1/2 ).

compare this to the Easy Spirit Traveltime

I bought one pair of these, one pair of Easy Spirit Traveltime. I have size 12 feet (thanks, kids!) and plantar fascitis, so I need not only large shoes, but ones with arch support. First off, neither shoe gave me the arch support I needed. Both had removable insoles. I placed a 1/2 length arch support under both insoles. Worked well with the ES, but not with the NB, because the NB's insole is very narrow, so the arch support stuck out on either side of the insole. Uncomfy. When I went to take the shoes off, ES was fine, but NB's insole curled up and came out (because of the arch support). Replaced it with a full length arch support, and solved that problem. Now both have adequate arch support. NB is more stylish. ES has a cushier footbed, and a more comfortable fabric on the inside. ES is glaringly white, white, white. NB "flip flops" more than the ES does (ES hugs the foot better when walking). Haven't decided 100%, but am leaning toward returning NB, keeping ES. I would like to be stylish, but realistically, I'd rather be comfortable.
