Good for minimal/moderate pronators
Great fit, very comfortable. I happen to be a maximal pronator and need additional support for long walks, and this shoe's support isn't quite supportive enough for a 2+ mile trek with a fast dog. It works just fine for shopping and around town, though.
Love these shoes
I have always had a hard-to-fit, duck feet--wide in front, narrow heel, high instep. Most slip-on shoes do not allow a high enough instep to fit, even if they are wide enough. New Balance shoes made on the SL-2 Last are a perfect fit for my type of foot shape. This shoe style looks great on, does not flip-flop and needs absolutely no new-shoe break-in period. Perhaps the 'flip-flop' problem mentioned in another review would be solved by buying a shoe made on the SL-1 last. I find that any of the New Balance shoes made on the SL-2 last fit me very well. I love New Balance (and so does my podiatrist)!
Love these shoes
I bought these locally but they only had one pair. I kept searching for more and here Amazon has my very favorite shoe for me to gat 2 more pair. These are terrific shoes because I love the slide on/off idea and comfort!!!
Comfortable shoe
This is my second pair. I love how this shoe gives nearly the stability of a full shoe and all I have to do is slip it on. It does seem to run a little wide, so I am ordering a B instead of my normal D width.
Felt like I was walking in flip flops
As long as I stood in the shoes they felt great, perfect. But when I walked they flapped. These really are not walking shoes
