Great boot!

These boots are my favourite thing to wear at the moment. I bought the 10 (I find US sizes are true to Australian sizes) in the pale brown colour. As others have mentioned, the shaft is quite snug so that's something to be aware of - particularly if you like to wear boots over jeans. They also do slouch down a bit around the ankle, but I don't mind that. They're pretty narrow so if you have wide feet and/or bunions like I do they might give you a bit of grief - I put on a thick pair of socks and turned a hairdryer on the hot setting on them to try and stretch the leather. That said, I've been wearing them to walk to work (~40 minutes) and then all day without much discomfort at all. I also have flat feet and the arch support in these seems pretty good. Very happy with them overall!

Haven't take them off...

Before the UPS man had pulled away, these boots were on my feet and they have yet to come off. They are supremely comfortable. I am 6' tall and a size 11 and they seem to fit perfectly so far, even wearing thick wool socks. I live in VT where it is wet 11.2 months of the year so the rubber soles on these are such a bonus. I'm a big fan of FRYE boots, and have one brown motorcycle-ish pair and one gray pair of cowboys boots, so these are the perfect blend of those styles in black. I also love that these do not have any heel at all as I'm so tall. They'll be worn dressed up with skirts and dresses, and are the ideal calf width to wear over skinnies as well as under bootlegs. I'm so pleased. It's taken me years to find the right pair of black boots for me. And a great price. I try to buy local when I can, but size 11 is tricky, so many thanks to endless.com for offering these boots and such fine service.

These boots were perfect from the moment I put them on. I have had several foot surgeries so must be careful what I wear and there are no worries with this fine boot.

The fit of this boot is good considering there is no side zip. I have quite big calves and was pleased that they're not too tight in this area.
A bit disappointed in the colour - it looks slightly different to how they're photographed on the page, but are still very nice.

Bought this boot to replace a worn out favorite pair, and love them. The half-size too small actually fits my true size of 10.5. I ordered in an 11 and they fit great. Very comfortable.

This boot is really cute. The online colors are a bit deceptive. The shaft is also narrow so if you have a larger calf you will need to order about a half size larger

These are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned, and the lack of arch support is fine because the sole is so giving. They are, in my opinion, perfect for someone like me, with big calves, becasue they stay up based on how much they hug the leg. If you have those skinny calves I have always envied, steer clear, probably, because I think they will slouch on such legs.

The pointy toe made it feel a little to western for what I was looking for. And the shaft was a little tight on my calves, not too tight, just snug (I'm 5'8", 150 lbs with muscular legs) I second the comments about this boot being slouchy around the ankle. I liked the boot overall, but I'm not willing to pay so much for a boot I'm not totally in love with.

These are the most comfortable boots and look good with anything. Endless has got the best price on these boots. If you want to tuck jeans in order a half size up cuz i always wear a 8.5 and sized up to a 9 and i can wear them with socks, leggings, skinny jeans. If you half skinny legs then i would not recommend these. I have 15 inch calves and these fit perfect. Very very comfortable boots if you dont want to wear the high heels but still look very good and stylish and best of all comfortable.

A bit slouchy

These boots were a bit slouchy for my tastes. The leather was nice and soft but I wanted to the boot to stand up. Not having a zipper made it tricky to get jeans inside the boot and the slouchy leather made the look sloppy. Not for me so they went back. I think they would be better with tights or just socks.

Looking for a narrow-calf riding boot

This is a nice-looking riding boot with a rather narrow toe box. I normally wear Keen's which have plenty of room in the toe area, so I'm a little biased. There is no zipper so the boot opening is wide for my 13 1/2" calves. The ankle of the boot slouched down and looked sloppy, in my opinion. This is a decent quality leather boot but if you have slim calves and want a good fit, keep looking. FYI...the Coach Marlena boot has a narrow shaft and a $400 price tag, but is gorgeous. Endless, I wish you carried that boot!

I read reviews all the time before I make purchases online and after reading the reviews for this boot I ordered a half size up. WRONG. I wear a 6 in 99% of all my shoes (maybe once in a blue moon I need a 6 1/2) well some reviews said this boot ran small, so I got a 6 1/2 and it was too big, returned it today and bought a 6. I would say go with your normal size. I got new brown and love the color. The boot is a tad bit "cowboy-ish", for sure a mix between riding and cowboy, but I still liked it. Didn't seem cheap to me at all and I usually buy designer and name brand stuff. It is a nice boot for a good price.

Although I agree that the opening of the boot is on the small compared to most boots, this is by no means a flattering boot for women with slim legs. The boot is very wide around the ankles. Cute western styling. The "grey" is more of a dusty brown color.

I have been looking for a boot just like this! I love that they have a low heel, and slightly pointed toe. They are kinda like a mix between a cowboy boot & riding boot. I love the worn look to the leather. Kinda rustic. The "new brown" is a beautiful color and the leather seems like a nice quality. I do have a few complaints. The shaft is a little bit too big for me. But I have tiny calves. (12 1/2) So I knew they probably wouldn't fit like I would prefer. But I think they still look cute on me. The other thing is my toes are a little tight in this boot. It would have been nice if they had a little bit more wiggle room but again I can live with it. And I am hoping that over time they will stretch. Oh and I wore them for a few hours and they kinda rubbed my ankle bone. I am hoping that this too will go away once I have worn them in. Overall though I love these boots and for the price I bought them for I think they are pretty nice! I can't wait for fall!

Cute and stylish boot, but it runs a half size too small. Didn't reorder because the leather isn't nice enough quality for $150. And the pair I received had a black pen mark on toe of boot and some scuff marks. Cute boot but not worth price.

I tried on these boots at a small botique close to where I live. They were exactly what I was looking for and very comfortable. I almost purchased them then but the price was over $200.00 not including tax. So, I pulled myself away and surfed the net and found this website. I am very pleased and will defintely purchase more products from endlessshoes.com.

The boots were much more brown than gray and the shaft was really tight. There is no way you are fitting pants inside of these! I honestly didn't mind the leather and the fit seemed comfortable but they just didn't work for what I wanted. I did not pay the full price for them, but I can not see them being worth almost $200.

I was so excited for these boots to come, I thought they would be perfect but I ended up sending them back. Mainly it was because they were too small and the boot shaft was too tight (and I have never thought I have wide calves). Plus the look with these boots should be a little loose. I also do not like how they come with the toe bent (I noticed that from some of the other reviews.) On the plus side, the leather is nice and I really like the style, I just wish they fit better (all around too small.) Try some of the styles from Miz Mooz, I ended up buying the Hugo riding boot and I like them much better!

I ordered the grey and the color is beautiful. Very distressed, smokey brownish grey. The toes were pointier then I expected which was my first surprise. The second surprise was the odd fit. Very tight around the top rim and bulky crinkley leather around the ankles. I struggled to pull them on but had tons of extra leather around my ankles. Bummer. I returned them.

a few things:
--i have a thinner leg so i bought this one thinking the opening is on the small side. i wear a size 8 and the opening at the very top of the boot is actually 15".
-- the boot is a little slouchy but i can easily pull the boot on even if i'm wearing jeans. (BUT, like i said, i have a thinner leg... 13.5" at the largest part of my calf)
-- the leather looks wrinkled. my mom even said it looks like it should be ironed.
-- very flat boot. no real support but VERY comfy. i didn't want any heels or chunky shoes so these boots are good for me.
-- and as other reviewers have said, the boot toe is all folded (like 90 degrees) in the box which is weird but it flattens out with a little muscle and just walking around a bit. but, now i can't store it in the box in my closet.

OVERALL: decent boot especially if your legs are thinner. comfy too. but i wouldn't pay full price. got a little discount but hoping they go on sale for a further price adjustment.

These boots offer no support or cushioning at all.Not comfortable. The fit was poor. The quality of the boot was cheesy. poor quality leather, poor design. For the price I was very disappointed in the quality

I've been looking for a pair of boots just like these for quite some time now--leather, tall shaft, low heel with decent traction, and with that perfectly worn-in look--and so I was thrilled to finally find a pair that meet all those demands and doesn't cost as much as similar boots I'd been eyeing. I was annoyed at first that the toe of the boots comes bent up due to a too-small box size, but as another reviewer mentioned, the toe does flatten out pretty quickly.

I think the leather is beautiful; it feels as though it'll last awhile. The rubber heel means no slipping and sliding, and the shaft comes up just below my knees on my 5'2" frame. It IS a snug-fitting boot, though, so if you plan on tucking into jeans or pants, it might be a good idea to go up half a size.

In defense of the review about the lining. Just about every boot I have looked at in this price range has a man-made lining. This feels like a nice canvas type lining not that slippery polyester stuff. Leather lined boots run upwards of 250-300+ dollars. The boot in the box was tight but the soles are so flexible that they straightened right out and maybe they passed along the savings to us? These are comfortable and flexible right away. Almost feels like a slipper. The new brown is a beautiful color. The only thing I was amiss on is that the leather is not smooth, it is meant too look slightly worn. I still love it and it will look this way anyways after wearing for awhile.

Great styling, inferior leather

I love the look of these boots but returned them for several reasons. First the shaft was really tight on my calf - I have normal size calves and have never encountered the problem with any other boots I've tried on. Secondly, I was really disappointed with the leather quality for the price. I have some boots made with beautiful Brazilian leather that cost less. The leather was thin and was lined with a cheap-ish nylon material. They are similar in quality to shoes you can find at Aldo - overpriced, low quality. Definitely don't recommend these. For the money, you can get much better quality boot. To top it off, the company couldn't even manufacture a box to fit the boots. They came with the toe folded up? Who does that for $195 shoes?
