Where do we start with how fabulous with this ferocious boot is? The gleaming leather upper features rows and rows of grommets and laces, turning a functional feature into serious high fashion. PLV Kerry Boot!
This boot is an obvious rip of Ann Demeulemeester's fall 2008 triple lace-up boot, but the best knockoff I've seen thus far. The main differences are that the side laces are just detail (not truly adjustable, although I plan to switch mine out for real laces) and the finish is a "new leather" look (that I already "aged" by rubbing them down with 95% ethanol). They fit well due to a stretch insert on the inside of the calf. I did add an extra insole for more cushing - probably not necessary for most, but I plan to wear these until they fall apart! I'm smitten with these boots!
