Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

Less then 6 months and the pad on right shoe has torn on bottom

These shoes cost around $99 and I had been given a nice discount through the distributor.
They're great shoes (at first) but from my experience, they wore down fast. The extra padding-bumper like on the bottom of shoes add to the comfort and the fit is fine. But suddenly, and it goes fast, the padding wears down and on the right shoe, there's holes/slits-cuts-like around the pads and when walking it sounds like gush of air w/every step. Running sounds like a loud clap (not squeak, like some of the gel-air shoes do).

I'm of average 154 pounds and wore shoes daily and do a lot of walking at work, (in large office/firm) and 15-20 mins. to-from walking to train. So, nothing out of the ordinary or the walking's been just that-normal or regular routine walk.

Great shoes at first and still look good and inside too, but bottomed out (for me) and the price's too high. I can't recommend them (to buy) and Reebok has generally good shoes.
