The Rockport Prowalker is part of the Rockport World Tour Classic that has become the standard for walking comfort. Constructed with the Rockport patented Walk Platform, it provides a wide base of support for the heel and a flexible forefoot to aid in the walking motion. The removable footbed is made of rubberized EVA cushioning that is durable. It also features a solid rubber outsole that grips a variety of surfaces, a lightweight fiberlon shank that provides midfoot support, and a full grain leather upper that is easy to clean.

perfect fit

found this shoe for my father---he had previously had bad luck with the "new" model of this shoe but was happy to see that the older, more reliable version was still being made...

Never received the items

UPS says the items were delivered, but the boxes were not there. I had tried to get another pair but they were sold out. Not happy :(
So the fit review above is not true but I can't file the review without filling something in.

wrong pro walker

I own a pair that had worn out. These that I bought are not the same model prowalker and are not as comfortable and rather hard to walk in. do you have the other model that I can exchange for?

this is my second pair of these shoes first pair i had i still ware when im out doing yard work the soles was the main reason for buing a new pair i had my first pair for 5 yars or longer and its true what they say Rockports UGLY out, before the ware out, i just hope my second pair that this review is for last and ware as long and good as my first pair did, anouther great thing about these shoes is there easy to keep clean

Nice shoe, good quality but not enough padding. Feels OK with addition of Dr. Scholls gel inserts.

No Rockport identification on outside of shoe

I have three other pairs of Rockport shoes and each one of them has the Rockport name somewhere on the outside of the shoe. The rockport name is on the inside and bottom of the shoe. If I am going to spend this much money on a pair of shoes, I want the whole world to know about it and to know they are good quality Rockports instead of XYZ brand which nobody has heard of.

If you need an all-day shoe, this isn't it

If you are looking for something to wear all day and you're going to be on your feet, this isn't the shoe. It looks cheap and it fits a little narrow.

I'm a woman and I found the perfect sneaker for me in the Rockport Woman's Prowalker 8.5 wide. I bought numerous pairs over the years - didn't even have to try them on to know they would fit perfectly. Then Rockport discontinued the woman's shoe but not the men's. The men's 7.5 medium width is a fair match for the woman's 8.5 wide - possibly a little stiffer feel and higher at the ankle, but at least I have a few more years of the sneaker I love.

Payless is cheaper, takes less time

I just bought this shoe type from Payless for $32, tax included. Even with a $5 discount offer for overnight shipping you can almost buy two pairs for the price-gouging price Endless charges.

At this price, you'd think the shoes were made of gasoline or something.
