the details

Leather and laces come together to create a fantastic, wear-everywhere boot. The boot zips up the side for ease of entry but laces offer a snug, customized fit while offering a little sexy toughness. The shaft reaches above the ankle and looks perfectly worn in. Add to that a comfortable durable sole for kickin’ it, and you’ll find you’ll want to zip these up for any occasion that calls for a serious dose of cool.

Love 'em

These are the perfect combat boots for girls...I like to sport tough looks, but with a feminine touch...so they're just right for that...as the construction of the shoe is very sleek! Although the sole does have exposed nails and no treads, with a little DIY (Gaffer tape etc.)that can be fixed.

Cool combat boot

These boots look cool, worn-in and a little rugged. Maybe a little more combat-y than I'd hoped but I'm liking them more and more and they're comfortable. They're not well insulated at all so definitely get some rubber tread if you live in a cold climate. The first few times I wore them my feet were numb by the end of the day and I had ski socks on!

holy crap these are amazing

Great shoe, but it was a little tight first couple of days. Overnight shipping is absolutely wonderful

love these boots!

these boots are really great! they fit true to size and only need a little breaking in. be prepared to add some tread to the bottom, they are pretty slick. the support is lacking a little as well but they are still a great deal for leather lace up boots. the distressed look is a nice change from the regular black as well. i've worn doc martins in the past and even though these don't compare in construction they make up for it in look. they have that butch boot look but not too bulky so they have more of a feminine feel.

Great alternative!

Great alternative/nearly identical to the Jeffrey Campbell or Sam Edelman boots that cost more then double the price. I have very narrow feet and these feel amazing, so they must run a little narrow. Run very true-to-size. I agree w/other reviewers who said the quality isn't amazing, but I wasn't expecting buttery leather when these boots cost over a $100 less than the Campbell/Edelmans... and I have to admit that they are more comfortable than my Frye Trapunto's that cost me triple the price! The exposed nails aren't an issue for me. Overall I am beyond pleased with this boot.

Hidden Treasure!

I have been wanting some black leather boots for awhile, and while I loved the look of these, I wasn't sure that I was going to wear them a lot. Wrong. I wear them with everything. I wear a 7 1/2 and that was the size I got, and it fit perfectly! They're so versatile. I love them! The feet are a little flat so I kind of want to buy some cushy insoles so I can wear them all day. However flat the feet are, they are still gorgeous and comfortable.

LOVE THESE!

I absolutely LOVE these boots! I wear a lot of skinny jeans and leggings and love wearing boots all winter long. I mostly have a bunch of Frye boots - they have always been my go tos. I saw Rhianna and Ashley Tisdale wearing these exact boots and had to have em. I love that they are pre-beat up and are not solid black. They are more of a really really dark brown because of all the tan showing through. I've already had three compliments on them today! As for sizing they are definitely true to size. I'm a 9-9.5 in Frye and I got these in a 9.5 to be safe. I may have been able to squeeze in a 9 but I'm keeping the 9.5.

Not quite right

I found these boots kind of cheesy--- stiff leather with an inexplicable, voluminous tongue that folded within the laces. The sole and heel were a bit thin for my taste. Not a keeper for me.

Love the style - and comfortable

Nicely distressed boot with easy on-off. I ordered my regular size. Those with a high instep may have trouble putting boot on...side zip for entry. Lacing is all styling; has nothing to do with loose or snug. Be prepared to put a non skid strip under sole - these are slick on bottom. I've worn for weekend and casual day at work. Even works with my longer skirts.
