Sanuk was started by surfers in southern California in the late '90s who were looking for footwear that reflected their lighthearted way of life. Founder Jeff Kelley was disappointed to see little selection in a category of footwear that had become his main shoe staple: the flip flop. Jeff had always been interested in footwear and with a little help from a few friends Sanuk was born. Years later, the Sanuk brand still delivers out of the ordinary, quality product to surf and specialty shops every season and has helped bring the flip-flop category from a summer only item to something worn all year.

I really like this flip-flop. It molds to your foot after a while. I have noticed though that the strap rubs a bit too much on the top of my foot. It's not bad, and I wear them often because they are comfortable.

Very Bulky

From the looks of the sandal, I thought it would be more feminine..it is very bulky and clunky.

I loved the way that this thong looked! It is casual but stylish so I bought it.

The worst feature is that the strap seems too loose and so your foot never really feels seated when you walk. Also, because of that it rubs uncomfortably.

The heel is a great height and flatttering to the leg--but is so hard! It seems like it could have been designed to have just a little give to be more comfortable. The design needs a few tweaks.

My least favorite pair of "stylish" thongs for those reasons.
