Size is not right

I wear a size 7-1/2 shoe, and I always buy size 8 running shoes for comfort when jogging. I wore these for a 20-minute walk with my dogs, and I wound up with a huge blister in the back of my foot. Couldn't figure out why a shoe a half size larger than my regular size would pinch. Yes, I worried that my feet had grown. But my other shoes--including my old running shoes that were wearing out--still fit right. I took these and put them sole to sole with my old running shoes, and these are way too short. The label on the tongue says 8, but they're not.

I have been running for over 10 years and have been wearing Saucony shoes for about for about 6 years. There are awesome shoes and I am so glad I found this website! I am in the process of training for a marathon and I think this shoe was a great choice. It's so comfortable and extremely light weight. It does run a little narrow which is fine for me but something to consider. Also Saucony shoes tend to run 1/2 a size small on me so since I am a size 8 in other shoes I always wear and 8.5 in Saucony shoes. I hope this helps...stay "Loyal to the Sport"!!!
