Comfy, however...

They are pretty comfortable for sneakers - bouncy and all that.

As it is with Skechers, I've had it over a year ago and I've still not worn down the tread and I wear them pretty often. It also adds an inch or two to your height, which is not a bad thing to have.

Can't confirm whether it really does tone your legs or not, otherwise.

Tight toes

I have several pairs of shape-ups, but this is the first one that is uncomfortable. The toe box is narrower than on my other shoes, so it rubs on my big toe. I'm not wearing them for any length of time.

Didnt fit like the others

I have another pair of shape ups, but for some reason these in the same size were too short. They look pretty cool, but I sent them back.

These are the best sneakers I have EVER worn. They were so comfortable from the first time I put them on....no "break in" time required at all. I've been wearing them almost every day for 2 weeks, and I cannot find one thing wrong with them.

Not as good as MBT

The only "shape up" shoes I've owned before were the expensive MBTs and I LOVE them. The Skechers Shape Ups look just like the MBTs and I thought that I would give them a try (especially at this price point!). As soon as I tried them on, I can notice that they were not as "bouncy" nor airy as the MBTs. The support isn't as good either when running. I actually worn them to step class and was able to balance (I would never even consider to do it in the MBTs). Overall, it's OK pair of sneakers, but not what I was looking for.

I now have 2 pairs of these, and love them. I do have to get a size up, but I tried tham on in a store before buying online.

Unfortunately, these guys just did not work for me. The XFs were my 2nd set of toning sneaks, and since I love my 1st pair (by Danskin) and wear them constantly for my Hospital job, I thought the XFs would be just as great, for walking and working out. I was really, really wrong. I couldn't even complete a mile in these, they hurt my arches so bad. I tried everything from loosening them to relacing them differently (which I've never had to do for any sneakers), but it was absolutely excruciating to walk in them. I'm definitely disappointed but will keep looking.

The first week after I purchased these, I wore them casually while running errands, around the house, and for long walks. I didn't feel any difference in the way I walked, nor did I feel like any muscles that aren't normally used were being worked! I thought they were a gimmick. The following week I did a power walk and THEN I felt the burn. If you're like me and you thought these shoes would change your everyday walk enough to "work out" as you go about life, this isn't the shoe. What they actually do is enhance whatever walk/jog/run routine you're doing. So far, I'm satisfied.

This is my second pair of lace-ups-they have a lot of cushioning (great after recent foot surgery) and I can walk all day in comfort. I also like the look of the gray with red and get lots of compliments on them.

These shoes are pretty nice. They have been pretty easy to break in. I don't really notice the rocking motion on them, but maybe that is because the soles are the thinner ones compared to the original shape up. For me just wearing them around the house causes me back pain, but when I walk around a track I can feel the shaping up happening.

Shape ups are my favorite!

These are by far my favorite style. Its not too obvious that they are work out shoes, and they are great for wearing every day. They look just like the picture, with soft colors of gray and blue. I own a couple different kinds of shape ups and these are my favorite!

Great price, great product!
Comfy and a little weird to walk in it at first, but now, it is my go to shoes on the weekends.
I was worried about the platform being too tall or bulky but not bad at all. Looks great! no one can tell that I am wearing shape up shoes!

I decided to get the Shape Ups XF because they are built to be worn all day which I do. I have plantar facilitas and I needed shoes that would give me the all day support. These shoes do help a lot. I am surprise of the support and the comfort. I recommend these specific shoes if you need all day support. Worth the investment. The price was definitely reasonable.

still testing

I received these about 2 weeks ago and I'm still testing. I noticed that my heel shifts alot in these and while I really wanted to work out in these that movement doesn't make them the best fit. I bought my regular size since everyone says they are true to size but I'm not sure if the heel shifting and movement is a fluke, supposed to be that way or because the shoe is too big... I contacted skecher's about it and am awaiting a response. I'm also going to make a trip to the skecher's store to check on a 1/2 size smaller. The rest of the shoe is very comfortable after two weeks. I have overpronation, so my arches are flat and fall inwards. The shoe bends with my arch and is not stable on the sides. I did not like them right away but after the two weeks they seem to be comfy.
I will review more later as an update...
