Great walking shoes

I bought these shoes in orange as they were cheaper... In hindsight I would have rather paid more to get a different colour as they are super bright and really get noticed on my feet (and don't match any of my walking gear!). These are my walking shoes, I walk about an hour a day in them and they are fine. I never had any rubbing or blisters with these shoes, they didn't have to be broken in. I really feel the toning effect when I am walking uphill on pavement, not so much toning when walking on grass or normal pavement.

i do a lot of walking on dirt roads, and have been looking for a shoe, that gives great forefoot cushioning.
this is my first pair of skechers and wont be my last. 10 dollar delivery to australia, and they arrived on time.
great work endless.

I bought one pair in the black/purple. The first time I wore them I was beyond amazed at how unbelievably comfortable these sneakers were. I raced home and ordered two more pairs in different colors. I also purchased three pairs for my friend who stands on her feet 8 hours a day. She thanks me every day.

I could not love these shoes anymore than I already do! They look great, and literally feel like I am walking on a cloud. I have also received a lot of compliments on them (I bought the silver and white). The only drawback is that they do not have very much traction, since the bottoms are so soft I nearly slipped once I walked onto a freshly polished floor, but once I got used to the new texture I was fine.

I like the way these shoes feel. But, I don't really notice any toning in key areas and they have glitter on them. They look to me like shoes a 12 year old girl would wear. But for that price, they are ok.

They are very comfortable to walk in, it feels like you're walking on air! I wish they hhad a better arch support,but the cushion on the bottom helps take that away. Overall they are very comfortable shoes! Thanks for the orange shoe strings to match, that was a bonus to me!

I had bought this shoe in another color and liked the fit. It was a good quality shoe for the price. What I like about the shoe is the wider toe area. The look is very attractive and comfort is above average.

Not sure about shaping up or toning.

I'm probably not the best person to review sneakers, since I generally wear stilettos or flats.

The sneakers are comfortable for walking, but not for jogging. I only wear them when I exercise, so I dont know whether they are comfortable for standing around. Not sure if anyone else had this same issue, but when I first started wearing them, they made my feet tired more than anything. I didn't really feel any other part of my legs being worked out...just my feet. But after a few uses, my feet got used to them. Still not sure about the shaping up or toning in the legs. I don't feel anything, and I really can't tell whether or not it's working. The shoes are as bright pink as they appear in the photo, and I think they look great. I will continue using them and see if anything gets "shaped up."

I was looking for a great sneaker and I found them. I run a resort so I am always on my feet. During an event I through on my Skechers and my legs, feet and body feel great. You can feel the burn because they are working. I love them so much I had my employees buy the Skechers and they love them. Now we are all wearing Skechers.

I like these a lot, the silver is so much fun! They are comfortable, however, I had to take the laces out of the top holes because it felt weird, and I had to use my orthotics. So, from someone with bad feet, the fact that these shoes are working for me is actually a complement! As far as toning action, that is yet to be determined!

I cannot believe how comfortable these sneakers are! I want to wear them all the time. I am an older user and after knee surgery do alot of walking and these shoes make it so much easier.

Was afraid that wearing them for an extended period of time might make my calf muscles ache, but have had no problem. Would have rated a five star, but laces don't stay tied too well. Wore them for 8 hours and had to re-tie 3 ties.

Sketchers are the only athletic shoes that I can wear because of my extremly high arches. I was looking for something with pink and the silver totally caught my eye on these. You have to watch the dvd provided though so you know how to walk in them and they are really working the areas of your body that they are intended to shape up. If you don't, you run the risk of having a sore back so the dvd is very helpful. These shoes are comfortable, affordable and most importantly....adorable!

I bought these shoes because I thought what the heck it is a great price and worth a try!!! I love them.... They make me want to go walking. I have gotten several compliments. I have been wearing 1 week and I can feel my calves get tight.

These shoes gave me horrible back pain.

As soon as I started wearing these shoes I had horrible back pain. I am talking lay in bed and cry pain. I didn't think it could be from the shoes so I kept wearing them. My back kept getting worse and worse.

I am a pet sitter so I walk all day long. I noticed my back felt better after a long weekend of no walking. I thought I was finally on the mend.

I wore the shoes all week and could barely move at the end of the week. Then I knew it had to be the shoes. I wore different shoes for a week and my back is so much better now. I am 100% positive all my pain and suffering were from these shoes.

I was pissed off literally 5 minutes after I bought these because I bought the white and blue ones for $64.99 and then when I checked them a few minutes later they were $56.99!! I couldn't cancel the order and they couldn't even credit me the money when I asked, so useless the customer service! Seriously like 3 minutes later you lower the price?! The coupon I wanted to use didn't work either ! The shoes are alright, they are very shiny and glittery. I just don't feel a difference when I walk in them I guess you have to buy the tall ones to feel it but I wanted these so I could go out in them too.

I work out three times a week, so I thought I had trained all of my muscle groups. I was wrong. I wear the Toners-Ultra Fit intermittently with my other sneakers and shoes and have discovered that I am working areas that I had not targeted before. Very happy with the fit - I pulled the bed out to accomodate my orthotics.

I have an issue with the ball of my left foot getting sore. These don't help that, was so hoping they would. They are just adorable, not as high as the other Shape-ups, lets you walk normal. I tend to walk on the outside of my heal & these let me do that. The arch is great! They don't make your feet look big or wide. I can wear them for shopping or whatever, but due to not enough padding in the ball area, can't use them for concrete walking. Have to stick to the original Shape-ups for that. I wear a 6.5 to 7, bought these in 7 and they were fine. My foot is a B width on the narrow side. Wide feet may have a problem with these as they seem to run narrow. I said true to size as they are for me. These are REALLY cute!

I loved the shoes but I had to send them back because of the sparkles, yes the sparkles -if these were in red i would have clicked my heels three times. Too much Too much!!

Good sneaker with decent padding/support

Haven't been wearing them long enough to notice if they do any toning, but I do notice that my posture is better when wearing them. Fit well and have a good amount of cusioning -- I work in a hospital and am on my feet for 10-12 hours per shift and my feet and back don't hurt at the end of the day when wearing these. They are a bit more flashy and almost glittery looking than the picture can represent which I don't love, but I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. Overall I like them but would probably purchase a different color in the future if buying again.

After much research on toning shoes, I decided on the Skecher Tone Ups....for quality as well as choice of colors. I am very satisfied with my decision.

I have lower back issues, and these shoes help relieve the pain and are lightweight and comfortable enough to wear all day. As for toning...haven't had them long enough to see the long term effects, but you can definitely feel slight soreness in the outer leg/butt area after a workout. One side note...I wore them doing a workout on an eliptical machine, and they really hurt my feet....but I don't think they were meant for that type of a constant pressure workout. I will wear different shoes for that and stick to my skechers for walking.

Overall....I would buy these again, if for nothing else, the comfort.

I was very excited to find a toning shoe for my small shoe size. I was also looking for a stylish black athletic shoe. This shoe fits both criteria! These shoes are very comfortable (I work in a busy doctors' office and am on my feet quite a bit during the day) and I have gotten several compliments on them. I plan on buying a pair in white as well.

I was looking for a walking shoe to replace my old reliable Nike. I decided to purchse this Sketchers shape-up and give it a try. I purchased the silver one and as soon as I tried it on, I could not take it off! It feels very comfortable on and also good for walking. Also I love this style among all the others coz it does not look as 'chunky' lol.

This is more comfy than most of the sneakers I have tried on. The color is cool too! I would recommend it to anyone who has a slightly wider feet as I have major problems finding a pair of sneakers that fit my wide feet comfortably. This is the one!
