Steve Madden, the company, was founded by Steve Madden, the man, in 1990 in Brooklyn, where he started out making trend-advancing shoes one pair at a time. Perfect Shoe for those with Plenty of STYLE!

If your style varies as much as mine, you can't go wrong with this boot. Dress it up as feminine as you want or wear it as rough as you want. You'll Always get compliments on this boot! Across the sexes, this shoe gets much respect. I own the black ones and wear them up, down, lace wrapped, or both! This is the best boot I've purchased to date! I echo all the positive comments previously mentioned.

The only less-than-positive comment I have is that the zipper may not stay zipped if you wear them folded, but all you have to do is wrap the laces around the outside of the shoe before you fold them down. That way the zipper is above the lowest point.

I live in Europe where the weather changes constantly and this is a year round boot!

Love these boots! As with most shoes, I did add an insole for better cushion and arch support, but I wore these while touring Germany and Austria in December - which involved LOTS of walking - and they, and my feet, held up great! Not to mention the style versatility of wearing them rolled down or up like a traditional boot. The red zipper really adds a nice pop of color! Love, love, love these!

I am so glad I bought the boots at endless. I was looking all over to try and find a discounted price but they sold me on the free two day shipping. I ordered them on a Friday night and they were alright out to ship on Saturday and Sunday. I was shocked because most places do not do that. The boots are perfect it was well worth the buy you can tell they are good quality, you wont regret this buy!!

I love them folded down

I think they look the best folded down and tucked in jeans. Also they are adorable with a wool skirt and tights (sweater tights are my new addiction). They are a tiny bit small when I wear them with my thick wool socks, but nothing unbearable. I wrap the laces around the fold to keep it snug, I don't like the flaps flopping around too much. SO i pretty much love them tons and want to wear them everyday before spring gets here.

This is my first review I have ever written. I have had my eye on these for some time, comparing these with other similar boots. The color is very neutral and as far as the sweater lining, it is not thick but very comfortable. I am a skeptic on buying boots online because of the size issue. I have always been a 5.5 and recently 5.5 are snug. I bought a size 6 and they are perfect!!! They are rugged looking which I love. Also the picture makes the shoe look skinny at the ankle, but on, they are so cute. the quarter fold is not much different than the half fold, but both ways fall perfectly above the ankle. laced half way unfolded are very cute and are not too high on the leg. you will never want to take these off. My advice would be to stop debating within and get them!

Wearing them right now... I can't take them off because they are just too comfortable. These are seriously the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I bought them because my roommate had a pair of the brown ones and they looked great on her and now I own the black ones... best decision ever!

I ordered these boots and with the 25% off and $4 next day shipping I had them the following morning! Props to endless' shipping and fedex for a prompt delivery. Wore the boots all day the day I received them and did not even have to break them in! Actually wore them to the beach to watch a surf competition and got many compliments! They are very comfortable! The red zipper is very cute and unique. They can be worn in three different ways; all the way laced, folded a quarter of the way down, or half way. Each way is cute! I wear them folded half way down with shorts and full or 3/4 with Jeans! Also very cute with dresses. Zipper is heavy duty and the leather is DEFINITElY real- smells pretty strong for the first few days but that just adds to their authenticity. Seem very well put together, not cheaply built. I looked over the reviews at Nordstroms (which had a ton of reviews on them) first but bought them at Endless for a much better price! Great & reliable website & boots!
