Bought this boot because many reviewers noted that the shaft of the boot is narrow, and I have (apparently) very small calves. I was thrilled with the fit - these are the first boots I've ever had that fit snugly in the leg! I would highly recommend these boots for anyone with small calves. If yours are average size or larger, this is not the boot for you.
Good overall, though narrower than I expected

These boots look great, and the fit is very accurate. The boot shaft is definitely slim-cut, but I have average-sized calves, and they still fit. The look of the boot shaft is narrower than I expected, which kind of changes the overall look of the boot -- it doesn't have the bohemian, relaxed style that I thought it would. However, they still look great and I'm happy with them.

Pains me to say becauser I love Steve Madden, I bought these boots with the intention of having a nice casual/semi dressy pair of knee high boots to wear with leggings and skinny jeans, and was very disappointed as soon as I opened the box. The brown color is dull and not very pretty, the heel i found to be a bit bulky, and the shaft is very very narrow, I returned them immediately. I have average calves and I ordered a half size up, still couldnt even get them to zip. I think they would look very nice on someone who's super skinny with very thin legs, but definitely do not purchase these if you have any shape to your legs.
Love them!! Wish I could get both colors!

I love these boots. I originally for them in the brown, but returned them when I realized I needed black boots a little more. These are my new favorite boots. I'm on my feet pretty much all day and I haven't taken them off. They are really comfortable. Not too high, not flat! I got them because of the previous reviews claims that they are narrow in the leg. I have really skinny ankles but defined calves, and these boots fit perfectly. They are a tad snug when I tuck my jeans in, but not intolerable. I wish I had enough money to get them in both colors!!

These boots are well worth the money when it comes to buying a pair of nice boots that will fit snug against your calves and look great when worn with skirts/dresses. I wore then over skinny jeans last night and they look fantastic but you must have the super-skinny jeans to be able to zip the boots up. You can't "tuck" the jeans into these boots, there's just no extra room. I am a competitive swimmer and have large calves for a woman but these boots fit my calves like a glove so there may be some extra room for women with smaller calves. The rounded toe is fantastic for walking/dancing and the heel is very stable without looking clunky. All-in-all, I highly recommend these boots!

These boots are lovely, and the material feels nice. Most boots always have too wide shafts, but this one was nice and snug. A bit too snug but nothing I couldn't manage. I can wear them with tights and leggings, but the jeans would have to be super skinny to fit in. That's okay tho, I have another pair of boots with wide enough shaft for my jeans. These boots will be for my skirts and tights.

These boots are GREAT! I have really skinny calves (12" in diameter) so finding boots that I didn't swim in was really hard. Because you can adjust the straps on the top of the shaft of this boot, they fit perfectly. And they are comfortable, just the right height for a short girl (5' 2") I received TONS of compliments. Love'em!

I really love these boots. They look great! They do run a little big, and maybe even a half size if I wore nylons. I usually wear sport socks (because I get cold feet) and I could maybe even put in a pair of insoles to make them fit a little better. I'm afraid a half size smaller might have pinched my toes. The best thing to do, might be to order 2 pair and send back the ones that don't fit. As for the look of the boot, they're great. Soft and comfortable. I don't think the heels are that high. I had knee surgery about 9 months ago and I can wear them all evening with no problems. It's not like I wear heels all the time, I wear tennis shoes on a daily basis. I really love the way the calf fits. I have thin calves and these hug my calf nicely. They seem to have some stretch to them, so I think they would conform to a bigger calf. I love these boots with skinny jeans, leggings or skirt. I would recommend this boot to anyone with thin to average calves.

I have ordered 3 pair of tall black boots so far and all have been returned because of the fit around the calf. WAY too big for my legs. After reading the reviews for this boot, I decided to give it a shot and it is perfect! I typically like more of a heel to give the boot a more dressy look, but this one does not take away from the overall sophisticated appeal of the boot. There is still a little moving room on the boot shaft, but for the most part, this is the only boot that has had a snug fit around my calf.

I just got these boots today and I love them!! The fit was perfect and it's so difficult for me to find boots that fit around my stick thin calves!! I'm glad I have to search no more!!

absolutely agree with other reviewers that this is not for women with big calf. I have extra skinny calf, so this one is perfect for me. The leather is supple, and the lining makes it really warm. Definitely look great with legging, skinny jeans or skirts. Heel is not too high. :)

The leather on this boot is supple. The look is fabulous. When I tried it on I could barely zip the boot up over my calves and I don't have big calves.
I really didn't want to send these boots back because they are comfortable and look great. I wanted a boot I could wear with jeans or a dress. There is no way I could have fit them over pants, way too tight!

What the other reviewers are saying is VERY true. The boot shaft is tight, trust me when I say if you don't have skinny jeans (very tight in the leg skinny jeans) your jeans will NOT fit into these boots. I have average size legs too. I wore them with leggings and very cute. Other than that, I love them. They are super comfy and the heel thick enough you can wear them long nights. I do like them but will only be able to wear them with skirts/dresses, leggings and maybe very skinny jeans that are major tight on my calves...

These boots are extremely comfortable and look great with skinny jeans. My husband gave them to me for Christmas as a surprise. Another great addition to an always increasing wardrobe. This is a must buy.

This is such a great boot. I just had my first child that is 3 months old now. I'm so use to wearing boots with a skinny heal. And I was looking for a boot with more support while carring my child around in a carrier, but still look hot and sexy. well this is the boot. I was able to wear them all day with no complaints. They were soooo comfortable. To the point that I ordered them first in black. Now i'm about to get them in brown.

This boot is as comfortable as it is fashionable. I love the slightly "slouchy" style with the buckles. I'm 5'2" and these come right below my knee. I have more athletic calves and haven't had any problems wearing these boots with jeans tucked in. Steve Madden never disappoints!

It's very cute boots and I like it a lot except that the heel is really high (higher than you would expect based on the picture). It's a pity that I don't feel comfortable to wear it for everyday use, unless you are used to high heel.

I am on a quest to find the perfect boot. I really did like the boots and they fit true to size. I have ~13 ½ to 14” calves and this is a perfect fit. It was like heaven when i put them on - perfect! I love the height of the boot for dresses and the leather is soft! But I just didn’t go crazy over the style. I returned the boots in hope to find just the right look for me. I think these boots would look ideal on a younger chic woman. Oh, and you can remove the upper straps to change the look of the boot.

I like these boots and will be keeping them. Be sure to measure how high these will hit on your leg because the photo makes these look taller than they really are. These are a nice boot- and the half zipper allows you to hold your skinny jeans and stop them from bunching up while you put these on. I only wish I ordered a size up. It is a little tough to zip with jeans tucked in. Overall a cute boot. I thought they'd be a little taller and a little wider in the calf- but then again I should have measured. I like them.

I'm usually a 7.5 in Steve Madden shoes (flats), but after I tried these on in store, I found that the 7 fit me better because of the heel. I have pretty small calves, so when I heard that this boot tends to be snug around the calves, I decided to get it and I'm so glad I did! It's a perfect fit for my calves with or without jeans. The leather isn't as soft as I thought it would be but it's still nice. I got them in the brown leather which I love, and it's a bit lighter than shown in the pictures. I love all the buckles and have gotten so many compliments on these boots. Absolutely love them!!

This is almost like a love affair...I simply love everything about this boots, except the height..it's just a bit too high for me. I have small calf and it's VERY hard to find boots that fit (13" or smaller), so when I finally found this pair, I was dancing with joy!!! But I simply can't wear shoes higher than 3 inch, I tried (sooo hard) to keep it. But finally decided to return them. Sad sad sad

My friend who was shopping with me was shocked that both of us, me with my super small calves and her with the muscular runner calves, could wear these boots! The straps around the calf are totally functional so you can adjust them. Great fit and comfortable, and have gotten compliments on them as well! Price at Endless was better than the "buy one, get 2nd pair half off" sale at Steve madden store!!
