I'm 5'6 with long legs so when i wear these boots the shaft length is too short. these boots would look good for people with shorter legs. the picture makes it appear to look knee high but its no where near knee high!

I have narrow feet, yet these Boots feel too narrow around the ankles. It was impossible to get them up my calves (which are normal size and well shaped). If this was not enough, they look like they have been worn. The sole was dirty and the suede had marking. This is not the quality I am used to expect from Steve Madden. They are going back. Disappointing.

I wear these all of the time. I love the fact that even though they are flats they can still be dressed up, because there are days that you just don't want to wear heels.
Would buy one in every color!

I got these in gray and I love the color. I will probably keep them even though they are a little short in the length. I ordered a 6 1/2 and a 7 would fit better, but they are out of stock in the 7. But, overall these are really cute boots.

the first time i ordered these, the wrong color was sent,but the representative did a great job fixing the problem and i got the grey pair before xmas. great color, good look and needed some boots without a heel. they are very flat~ no cush, but feel ok.

I LOVE these boots! They look good with jeans, leggings, and on their own. I wish they made the same boot with a heel because id love another pair.

These boots are just the right length and look really good on. However, the shaft is slightly too narrow, so putting them on when wearing them over jeans is a hassle. But once they're on, they're comfortable. All in all a great boot!

Really comfortable though lacking arch support. I ordered 1/2 size larger due to previous reviews and it's perfect. The shaft is a little large but still looks good when it sits lower
Looks great over skinny jeans or tights.

I went with this style over others because these boots are genuine suede. They are made really well and are very comfortable from the first wear. I got many compliments - worn with tights/skirt and over skinny jeans. The buckle is a nice touch as it's an appropriate embellishment as well as functional. Could only be better if they came pre-treated with protective spray for braving the elements.
Nice boot, but you can probably get the same thing for a lot cheaper at payless

I like these boots, and $80 really isn't bad, but I happen to know my mom bought my sister some very similar ones for around $20 the day after Thanksgiving. You just don't get what you pay for here. The boot isn't insulated, and its hard to tuck in jeans because there's no zipper and they are fairly narrow. But then the buckle isn't tight enough on the back to hold them up all the way. So I would say you can definitely get these boots and will probably like them, but check out Payless or Shoe Carnival first if you're a bargain hunter, because they probably have the same thing for $25.

I don't usually wear flat shoes and especially flat boots, but these suede boots are very stylish and comfy. There isn't much arch support, but that is the case with most flat shoes so I can't complain. If you're looking for a new style, check these out.

These boots can be worn with anything! There is a small buckle in the back if you need to make them a bit more narrow at the top; otherwise they seem to have the perfect amount of slouch. I was very impressed with the look and feel of the fabric. Great purchase!

Comfortable from the beginning! I got a 7 1/2 which is typically a little big for me, but I like wearing thick socks with boots and these worked out perfect! The first time I wore them I got lost in a corn maze for two hours and didn't feel any discomfort at all!

great boot you can adjust it on top to make it tighter so it doesnt ride down, my feet didnt even hurt after first time I wore them

I found these to be cheap feeling. As soon as I pulled them out of the box. Underwhelmed. The cut of the toe is ugly and very '1983' but not in a good way. The top cuff was too prominent and the boot shaft height seems oddly off. If you have small calves the back buckle feature isn't going to save the day either. They just aren't the best fit. Also massive heel slippage. Way too roomy.

These boots have pointy toes. They pinched my toes. Otherwise, they are cute and would probably work well for someone who can wear pointy toes.

I love this boot, it's super versatile and very comfy. I had to exchange for a half size larger and was very pleased. However, you must handle the suede carefully. I noticed it wore quickly where I've been pulling the boot on so I am very careful to tug gently and watch out for your nails! They will scratch and damage the suede. Nonetheless, I'm an outdoors gal and a light brushing with a damp towel removed dirt and a bit of mud with no damage..still looking fabulous :)

I purchased these boots in gray. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5. I tried both and the 7.5 really fits better. The toe box is a bit tight, so definitely go up half a size for a more comfy fit...especially if you want to wear socks. There is really no lining in the boots so I have to jam my feet in. There is no arch support, but they're still pretty comfy for flat boots. Great for a casual day out. I love the buckle in the back. I put it in the last hole since I have small calves, but they still slide down a bit. I don't mind since they are slouch boots and that's the whole point.

I had the Steve Madden Bonanza boots last winter and wanted to replace them this year with a similar style and I'm so glad I chose these! I love the pointed toe because it makes the boots really versatile for both casual and more dressy clothing. I got them in black and they go with everything. I'm 5'4'' and have pretty skinny calves, so I really like the functional buckle in the back. Even when the buckle is in the last hole, the boots slouch more than they do in the picture, but I like the look. I'm usually a 7.5 but I went half a size up for these boots and I'm glad I got the 8! I would suggest doing the same if you're going to wear socks with them. The boot does feel narrow around the toes but it's very comfortable, especially since I went up half a size. Absolutely love them!

i ordered these boots and sent them back the next day...i got the gray color and they were just kind of boring looking. great price though...they also have a pretty narrow pointy toe which i'm not a huge fan of. free returns are where it's at!

These boots are hot. They look great with everything, a dress, leggings, or over a cute pair of jeans. I definately recommend these boots. I plan on buying them again in purple. I really like the working buckle on the back. You can wear them pulled up higher on the leg or scrunch them down. They are very comfortable.

I agreed with the other reviewer, definitely get half a size up if you want to wear socks! It's tough for me to find boots that fit me as I have big calves. With these, I managed to pull them up to the middle part of my calves (with skinny jeans tucked in) but they still look great and I'm very happy to have gotten them. I'm 5'3" and they don't make me look short at all.

When I ordered this boot, I half expected it to not work for me because I'm short (5'2") and have thin legs. What a pleasant surprise ! It's not too tall or too wide in shaft circumference. As a matter of fact, there is a functional buckle at top back that I could cinch in if I'm wearing the boot with a dress instead of jeans tucked in. The fit is true to size compared to a dress shoe but if you want to wear socks, I suggest going up a half size. BTW, I got the grey and it looks more taupey than in the picture but it's still nice.
