This rugged boot from Sorel is an ideal winter weather boot for those who tend to find themselves in extreme conditions. Constructed from waterproof nubuck and suede leather, the boot is seam sealed to keep feet warm and dry. The built-in gaiter/bootie has an easy barrel lock closure for walking in deep snow and an Achilles adjustment strap, which can be tightened to further provide ankle support for uneven terrain. The removable EVA comfort footbed reduces weight and adds thermal protection for long days in the cold, and the Thinsulate insulation has a rating down to a very chilly minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Excellent for deep snow

I live in an area with some nasty winters. We had about eight feet of snow this winter, almost a record. The seal at the is great, my favorite feature. These boots are very warm, comfortable, dry, and have good traction in winter conditions. I would definitely recommend them.

Good Boot

I bought these boots for my 17 year old son that works on a snow crew all winter. He loves them. They keep his feet warm and some times he is out in them 8 to 10 hours. I would recommend them to everyone.

I was looking for a boot to keep my feet warm during the cold, snowy winter months in Michigan. This boot is absolutely perfect! I have been doing outdoor work at my home during the past few weeks and these boots have kept my feet (and therefore, the rest of my body) very warm in the cool temperatures.
