The shoe overall is great. It wears great even on an active 5 year old. We bought these at the begining of school and now at the end of the year have still held up great. Throw them in the washer and they look new. One problem is the velcro does not hold up like the shoe. After about 4 months, the velcro no longer sticks. Other than that the shoe is great.
