i've owned ever iteration of this shoe from the 990 to the 991 to the 992 and now the 993.

all have been excellent and were well worth the price i paid; although on here i paid way less than retail which is a big plus.

if you've never worn this shoe and always wanted to give it a try, do it. you won't be disappointed.

Great shoes, look great too

Purchased these after having my new pair of Asics eat at my feet, even after 10 miles of break in. Put these 993's on my feet and they were in heaven even without a break in period. They are the most comfortable running shoes I have ever put on my feet. The great thing is even after trail running these still look good with the grey colors. My only knock is that I have very low arches and probably need an additional arch support; when I jump rope my arches have burned but I'm also newer to jumping rope so my feet may grow used to the extra feel on this pair. Also, the picture shows grey laces and mine shipped with white - not a big deal but for trail runners who want to hide the grit the grey may be better but I'm indifferent to which color shipped to me. When these went back on sale I purchase another pair. The unfortunate thing is if I didn't catch these on sale for 40% off then I may have not considered them as I usually do not spend more than $100 on running shoes.

This is one of the best pair of shoes I've owned. Very comfortable and fits nice on your feet.

So far so good. Excellent shoes for the price. May raise my rating to a 5 after more use. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a great running shoe - made in the USA.

This shoe looks great ! .. different than the regular blues and whites ! .. its got a great color and texture which suits clothes of many different colors ! In addition to the looks it also comfortable to wear day long..!

Good Running Sneaker

I've owned the 1123s for a year and loved the way they felt during and after a run. I decided to try these after a friend recommended them. I like them, but they're not as easy on the feet as the 1123s. I've put about 30 miles on them and they seem to break in well. I would buy another pair and recommend them.

Note: I wear wide width sneaks, so had to get the 4Es.

Not only is this NB shoe comfortable, it is great looking and stylish....a nice relief from the normal, "run of the mill" white color.
