Very comfortable for long periods of time
I bought these as my commuting shoes to get me from the train station in Chicago to my office which is about a 25 minute walk. I'm happy to say that I have no blisters, no discomfort and feel like my feet are supported. I would highly recommend this purchase even if $119 seems like a lot. They are worth the price.
Great shoe, but heel slips out
I ordered this shoe in my normal size. Overall, it seemed to fit well; however, my foot slipped out of the heel with each step I took (I saw this issue posted by a previous reviewer). Thinking that this was a size issue, I returned the shoe and ordered the next size down. The smaller size was TOO small (too tight in the toe box area), yet I still had the problem with the slipping heel. After trying on two different sizes and having the same problem, I now realize it is not a size issue. I've never experienced this with another shoe that otherwise fits well. Unfortunately, I will have to return this pair as well, and I think I will now go with the open-heeled version of this shoe. I absolutely love the look of this shoe, and it felt very comfortable had it not been for the slipping heel issue.
Ran rather Small
I so wanted my Dansko experience to be as Heavenly as previous comments. Either this shoe/the pair I ordered is miss marked (a 42 rather then a 43) or they run small. I actually ordered 2 pairs (the brown tooled leather and this pair) and the brown tooled leather pair fits large or as I would have expected in a size 43. The difference in sizing is significant in equally marked size 43's that I wonder if this shoe is missmarked. If not, this shoe runs 1/2 to 1 size small. The foot bed seems rather stiff as mentioned, however, this is what a Dansko is. This is a great looking pair of shoes, just sizing was completely off so I will have to return. I will not replace as I noticed my heel just slips out of the 2nd pair and gather that my heel is too narrow for this shoe. Great shoe, fits small, foot bed is very firm.
PERFECT !!
I had always wanted a pair of patent leather Dansko's and these did not disappoint, possibly the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned
Best shoe
I've never spent this much money on shoes before, but this pair was worth it! I have so many friends that constantly praise the comfort and I had to find out first hand. They were right! I can dress them up or down and extremely comfortable.
Dansko Clog
I had foot surgery and I needed a comfy pair of shoes. My doc wanted me only in sneakers but I can't always be in sneakers because of my job. I tried these and the are great! So comfortable!! I can wear them with my suits and it looks great!
Great looking shoe
This shoe has extra support on the inside of your foot so be prepared for this. Quite comfortable.
Size does matter
This is an extremely comfortabl pair of shoes except the top of the shoes that goes over the very top of the foot is a bit tight. So I recommend going up a size. I have owned a pair of Dansko in the past and I do remember getting a size larger than I normally wear.
