The Taper sandal from Charles David is a modern take on wedge style. The cork platform is partially covered for textural contrast, while the strappy upper features shiny patent leather accents at the toe and ankle. A large buckle makes the fit easily adjustable.

The Details Make Them
These are really cool. Shiny and matte details along with a little texture make them unique. Easy to walk in with the platform, fairly comfortable for the most part, I can wear them all day without having aching feet. I typically wear a 7.5 but had to get the 7 as they were at least 1/8" to 1/4" too long. The 7 fits perfectly. I am completely happy with these, even at the high-ish price.
