I've been looking at these boots since October or November and finally bit the bullet. Yes, they are very expensive but I think they are worth it! If you love the way these boots look and no other boot you see satisfies your new boot craving then you should get them! I was nervous about ordering them without trying them on first however they are true to shoe size (usually I buy a half size smaller for boots even in Frye). I have wider feet, like a good amount of arch support, have larger athletic calves and not a huge fan of high high heels and they fit well and feel good.

Even Though these boots are high-heeled, I feel like I'm walking on clouds. I wish I could afford to buy them in every color. I love the texture of the leather. I love the buttons. They seem so modern and so vintage at the same time.

I love these boots. When I opened the box I was wary, they looked so slim and sleek. I have big feet (a wide size 11) and I thought my feet would never fit in these boots. I put them on and they fit perfectly! They are magic boots that make my size 11s look like normal girl feet instead of boats like many shoes do. They are also surprisingly comfortable. I walked around all day the first time I wore them and my feet didn't hurt a bit which is also unusual. Of course they are fryes so they're high quality. Definitely worth the price!!!

It's true, you get what you pay for with these awesome boots. They are comfy and feel really stable like they're not even heels. I can walk all day in these! I normally take a 7, but I tried these on in macys and found a 6.5 to be perfect. Your toes don't cram into the toe of the boot and you aren't walking wobbly or unsteady. Love these boots & always get complimented! Cheap boots just aren't the same plus Frye's last forever. I searched these thru "bing" and got 30% cashback!

This is one of my all time favorite boots! I own them the slate color, and absolutely love them. I get compliments all the time! This pair seemed to run a little bigger than my other one. It may have been a fluke. I own a few pairs of Frye boots, they are generally true to size and they are built to last! I do highly recommend them, and this color is absolutely gorgeous.
I thought these boots would be too tall (heel height)

and thus uncomfortable. But these boots do not at ALL feel even close to 4 inch heels. They are very comfortable and have a unnoticeable platform that helps counteract the high heel. As a runner I have a more athletic calf muscle and was afraid the shaft would be tight but it fits just fine. I think these are the best boots I have EVER owned. They can be worn with pencil skirts to jeans and look great. They are well worth the price. And being made by frye...expect quality.

Young and old alike love these boots when they see them, and the comfort that I get from them is priceless. I am 5'10" and flat-footed, and wear a size 11. I can wear these nearly all day, as if they were flats. I don't mind making such an investment when I can assure that my feet will thank me and that the men will all pause when they see me approaching. You only get one pair of feet that have to carry you throughout your life!
great boots, if i were rich, i'd buy every color!

frye never disapoints in comfort and quality. the width was a bit loose on me, but i have a very narrow foot. the shaft was disapontingly wide and baggy, but i weigh 94lbs so the boot fits NORMAL people. hahaha

I love these boots so much that after I bought them in the grey, I also bought them in black. They are just so stunning and I get compliments every time I wear them. I have narrow ankles and calves, and I always have the problem that the ankle is too baggy and makes me look like I have cankles, or the shaft is too big and I'm swimming in them. I am also tall (5'9") and I have trouble finding boots that are truly knee-high instead of hitting at some awkward point a few inches below my knee. These boots fit me perfectly in the ankle and the calf, and they are truly knee-high. They are absolutely worth the money. I'd recommend getting some insoles because they do have a high heel and tend to get a little uncomfortable by the end of a day spent walking around in them.

Extremely well-made Frye Matilda Button Boots have that chic and expensive look, which garners lots of attention. The boots are tops in style with a modern-vintage appeal, not to mention sexiness. The high heel is amazingly comfortable--nice cushioning--Love them!
Fab boots, terrible shopping experience

Love the boots, not the website. I had to exchange the boots for a different size and it's taking FOREVER for the refund.
