The Frye Company is the oldest continuously operated shoe company in the United States. Founded in 1863 by John A. Frye, a well-to-do shoemaker from England, and family-run until 1945, Frye products have a long and illustrious history. Awesome boot!

My experience with the fit is that the heel will slip, but the Frye website says the boot will conform to your foot with wear (we'll see). I tried a 1/2 size smaller and the heel didn't slip, but the front of the boot was too narrow for my foot. The boot looks amazing!

I LOVE these boots. They have been described by one of my friends as "the coolest boots I've ever seen." I am stopped randomly by people asking where I purchased them and what brand they are because they look fabulous. They also fit well. The are not too tight on the toes or in the shaft. They are definitely high fashion cowboy boots, which I expect to last a long time due to their quality. I couldn't be happier with them.

Very cute in person! Runs 1/2 size large (as does the shorter version). I wanted to be able to wear these under jeans as well as with leggings but the shaft is so wide that most jeans don't go over smoothly. They are pricey, but the look is fantastic so the dilemma goes...
