Returning :-(

Beautiful boot! I just can't get past the fact that the foot part looks like a cowboy boot. I love the shaft part of the boot and suspect that it would loosen up over time as they are worn. I'm 5'11", so the shaft barely covers the knee when unfolded.

Amazing

These boots are totally worth the price. The suede is rich in color and texture and the leather upper is good quality. I bought a size larger than what I would normally wear so that I could use thicker socks. The heel is a little wider than the toe but that seems to be true with all J.Simp shoes.
Overall amazingly comfortable and gorgeous.

OMG!!!! You will love these boots!!!

I really wanted the all leather ones, but the suede/leather combo was only available. I am so glad I purchased them, they are sooooo cool!! They look super stylish and hip, perfect for fall. I have slender calves and thought the shaft fit fine and wonder what people are expecting out of a suede shaft. It is not stiff, so it will slouch. Depending on how far I can tuck my jeans in down my leg, the boots stay right at or below my knee. Now..with leggings it would be a different story but I wouldn't wear these with leggings, you need a stretchy shafted boot for that. My only complaint is that the top edges of the shaft folded forward and down because the suede is not stiff. I remedied this by hand sewing a button with an elastic band at the top of the inside shaft. Problem solved in 10min! Awesome looking boots, compliments everytime out!!

I felt like a pirate.

Boot shaft way to wide. I am short and needed a very "tailored" fit to rock "over the knee" boots.
I did way better with the Bronx boots.
These were comfortable and well made otherwise.
If you are a tall, you might like them.

Excellent boots for the price!

Leather's great -- these look like more expensive boots (and they were on sale here!]. I think it's difficult to make OTK boots with a bulky-ish shaft, like these, look good *on* around the shoe, and these do pretty well. The equestrian heel works to balance the shaft, but they might have been even better with a cowboy boot heel... this way, though, they're very Middle Earth. I'm 5'6" and they drop to the top of my knee (and stay there] after wearing for a few minutes. A tiny tiny bit wide in the foot, but will be good with thick socks. Love them, love Endless.com. (Need Jeffrey Campbell, though!]

these are nice looking boots but I didn't think the quality was that great. You can see they will fall past the knees quickly and in truth... what is the point of an otk boots, if they will fall past the knees after 3-5 wears. Isn't that the very reason wh I purchased an otk boot is so it stands up? Naturally any boot would fall over time but i hate that they fall past it and sits mid knee.

So glad I ordered these!!!!

The quality is amazing! I can already tell that the leather will only get better with wear and age. They are incredilbly versitle with the fold over flap at the top...you can get a totally differnt look in about 2 seconds...knee high or calf high, buckle or no buckle! These boots will be a staple in my wordrobe for many years to come. My only complaint is the fact that the shaft seems to be a little more narrow than expected. I am 25 years old and 5.5 with average sized calfs (about 14in around) but the shaft was a little tighter around them then I would like. There's not as much room for wearing with jeans as I had hoped, but it is still do-able. They are great with leggings and tights! They also run about a half size larger, but is not an issue if wearing with winter socks or foot pads. They are very comfortable...the heel is not too high. Overall, I would highly recommend to any girl, wheather your style is classic or funky...these versitle boots go with everything!

Great Boot

I have been looking for black over the knee boots for awhile. After reading the reviews I ordered these in a half size smaller than I usually wear. Love these boots! Especially for the style and price. These are really a nice looking boot and were very hard to find on other sites. I was also very pleased with the speed of delivery from endless.com. This was my first order from them and I have absolutely no complaints!

So Disappointed

I searched high and low for these boots LITERALLY. So I get them and the foot part is great, the shaft part....not so much. It was way too big and just looked clunky and awkward, it was almost like it was too much material. Im 5"6 and my calves are very large but not very skinny sadly i will be sending them back and trying another boot

Pirate

Purchased these in black. I felt like I looked like a pirate when I wore them cuffed, uncuffed they look great but I was looking for a pair of boot that would look great worn either way. I tried the dust split color in a local dept store and they look much better that black (cuffed and uncuffed).

not for smaller girls

Posted by:  Robin Hood (New York CIty) Nov 1, 2009
I am 5'5, with longish legs, and unfortunately have wimpy, small calves. The color and feel of these boots are great, but if I wear them for longer than 20 seconds they slip and slouch well below my knee and sometimes fall over, making me feel a bit like Robin Hood, especially if I'm wearing skinny jeans. if the strap were a bit tighter then the boot would be better constructed and more adaptable to different body types.

cool and comfy

I have read other reviews of the taller ladies and was hesitant to buy as I am only 5'; however, I'm so glad I did! I love love them. When they are unfolded, they don't fall down and are very comfortable. Unfolded, they read about 3" above my knee = perfect. They do feel about a 1/2 size large. So keep that in mind!

This boot is GREAT!
I can't tell you how many compliments I have received.
My feet do run wide and these boots fit so comfortable!
As to be expected, after a few wears the boot shaft does get a bit soft and starts to sack down and the boot loses its height a tat bit.
Great boot, definitely recommend buying it if you're on the fence!

Great boot, strange shaft hight

Posted by:  Big foot girl (Colorado) Oct 23, 2009
Great looking boot, good quality for the price, but at 5'11 it hits my knee at a weird place, so it does not look good. The shaft is much wider then 14.1/2, I have athletic calves and it was too wide, even with jeans in it. When folded over, the top is too wide looking and rubs together when walking. It just did not look good on me, so I returned them. But it is well made boot and at the right person it will look great.

Great Boot!

I love these boots! I am 5'-11" and they hit me mid knee. I wear a size 10 or 11 depending on the boot, but these run very true to size and I can wear the 10.
They are comfortable and stylish and definitely worth the money.

**These boots are divine**

I love them. People compliment me on them every time I wear them. They are awesome. You will love them.

Not as good as the photo :0(

I was so delighted with my other boot purchase a few weeks ago I thought I would try these too. I loved the way they looked in the photos, very lean and flattering. In person I was disappointed no matter how badly I wanted to like them. The material felt great, the suade was thick and lush, and the contrast between the hard leather and the suade was very sharp. However, I did not like the lining, very cheap and stuffed with foam. I ordered an 8 and even with socks the boot slipped at the heal, but I'm not sure a smaller size would have improved that. The shaft was much too wide for my calves and looked bulky. I could fit four fingers in the back of the cuff perpendicular to my leg. The suade was such a soft material and the foam didn't offer any support the boot was slouching constantly. I'm only 5'3" and this boot made me look incredibly short. Still looking for a more slender boot with cleaner lines.

WOW JESSICA SURPRISED ME!

I usually don't like cheap shoes cause they feel cheap on your feet. I first saw these on victorias secret site and thought they were soooo hot and sexy and had to have them. But I only shop at zappos or here. Well take my word for it they r wonderful in everyway. The color (rugged brown)is nice and the fit and length is true. I think she finally did something rite.(lol).Thanks endless u r great as always.

super happy

i got these boots in black and am very pleased with what i got. they were exactly what i was looking for. i usually wear a 9.5 in regular shoes, and go a size bigger for boots but the 9.5 in these boots feels perfect. im 5'10 and when the boot is unfolded it hits right at the top of my knee. they're really comfortable so they're great for everyday casual wear. im really glad i got them!

This boot surprised me.

After looking at what else was out there in the OTK Boots under $200, I was sort of expecting a cheap looking boot, but I was surprised by this one. The leather reminds me of the buffalo leather that my Chloe Silverado bag is made from, the texture is almost identical. This boot runs 1/2 size large, I usually wear a 10 in most anything, in this boot the size 10 slipped at the heel, so I just re-ordered it in a size 9.5. The boot shaft is a little wider than average, but not to the point where it falls down. It works great with jeans, I assume it'll work with leggings as well. One good thing about this boot is when the OTK trend fades it'll still work as a cuffed boot. It has a real stacked heel, not just a patch of leather glued over the heel, and the sole looks pretty good too. I still have a couple of pairs to see IRL, but this just may be the one.
