I had a few pairs of shoes made by Terra Plana in a past, so I am not surprised with the quality and feel. I recommend these shoes to anyone who wants to move fast.

A new approach to shoes - safe barefoot

I love these shoes. I want to wear only them. When I walk in them, I feel better in my body.
The sole is so thin and responsive that you feel every pebble, twig, and anything else below your feet. It is amazing. Your feet feel more alive than ever before in a shoe. The toe box is wide enough for your toes to feel free. The upper fits very snug, in a comfortable way. The tongue acts more like an inner sock; the laces are fine, but you could probably set the shoe up easily to be a slip-on.
There is no heel support or arch support. Your feet are on their own, just like the day you were born. It feels great. Others have said they had calf pain wearing these (and understandable so, with no heel support), and while I've felt a new stretch in my calves, I've not felt pain.
In these shoes, my feet feel completely protected. The sole is strong and tough. I never feel like a puncture is imminent, despite the slight thickness of the sole.
