An almost perfect barefoot alternative for the office

Of the three pairs of Terra Plana Vivo Barefoot shoes I own, this one's the closest to dressy. Overall, it's a good-looking, well-constucted shoe, and was worth the sale price. However, the heel cup is overly wide, and the toe box would be better if a little roomier for those of us with high-volume feet (wide + high instep). I wear a 37 in VFF Classics, a 36 is Birks, and ordered these in a 38 and they fit pretty well. If they made them in 37.5, I'd probably consider them perfect.

Terra Plana/VivoBarefoot Odette Shoe

The way the shoe's heel is structured forces the foot to the front, so much so that the toes are in great pain. Attempts at stretching back the heel and pushing back the foot were not successful. The return was effortless, for which I am grateful. I will visit a Terra Plana/VivoBarefoot shop when I am in London in May for a more definitive fitting shoe.

Cute and Comfy--but runs very small

These have great support for a ballet flat, and they're cute and comfortable. But they do run about a full size small, which is annoying.

Not a barefoot feeling

Stiff leather, bulky lining and insert, too tight elastic pushing your foot all the way to the front, all these remind you at any moment that you are NOT barefoot. So disappointing!

Awesome shoes - but know what you're getting into!

Read up on vivo barefoot "technology" before you buy these shoes - they're not for everyone. If they are for you, these shoes are positively amazing. Just beware that they run *quite* small.
